The evening streets were busy as usual. A tired mother walked hand in hand with her young child, carrying heavy bags of groceries from the store. The child skipped happily beside her, swinging her mother's hand.
"Tomorrow… teacher has asked for a new drawing book," the child said excitedly, looking up at her mother with big, hopeful eyes.
"You should have told me that before only," the mom replied, sounding a little tired and frustrated. She adjusted the heavy grocery bags on her arm, feeling the weight after a long day. "Now we have to go to the market again… jeez."
"Sowwy…" the child said with a cute laugh, not really understanding how much extra work this meant for her mother. She kept skipping along the sidewalk, talking about all the colorful pictures she wanted to draw in her new book.
