The common room was already stirring with the usual Monday morning energy when Harry came down the stairs. A few early risers were nursing cups of tea and muttering about essays due later in the week. He scanned the room out of habit and spotted Hermione straight away by the fireplace. She was curled up on the couch with a book in her lap, the way she always was, her hair a bit messy from sleep and her uniform looking as neat as ever.
A small smirk tugged at his mouth as he watched her for a moment. Memories from yesterday evening flashed through his head. He crossed the room slowly and dropped onto the couch right next to her, close enough that their thighs brushed.
Hermione glanced up, and her cheeks went pink almost instantly. A little smile curved her lips, shy but definitely there, like she was remembering every second of what they'd done in his dorm.
"Morning, Harry," she said, her voice soft but with there was something different about it, a flirty undertone she couldn't quite hide.
"Morning, Hermione," he replied, leaning back and letting his arm rest along the back of the couch behind her. "Sleep well?"
She nodded, closing her book but keeping a finger in it to mark her place. "Better than I expected, actually. You?"
"Best night in ages." His eyes lingered on her for a few seconds longer than normal. "You look different this morning. Good, like you're glowing. I've seen this sight before, but this is the first time with you."
Her flush deepened, but she didn't look away. "Thanks. You too. Did you... sort out that essay after I left?"
Harry chuckled. "Started it, yeah. Your notes helped a lot. Though I kept getting distracted thinking about other things."
Hermione bit her lip, fighting a smile. "Harry..."
"What? Just being honest." He shifted a bit closer. "So, what're you reading now? More Triwizard stuff?"
She held up the book so he could see the cover. "Actually, it's about ancient runes and their applications in protective wards. I thought it might come in handy with everything going on this year. The tournament's going to be dangerous, Harry. It's better to be prepared."
"Always thinking ahead," he said, nodding with a smile. "That's one of the things I like about you. You don't just react. You plan."
She blushed and looked down at the book in her lap.
They chatted for a few minutes about the book, her explaining a couple of the more interesting runes she'd come across. Harry listened, asking questions here and there, but his mind was half on how her voice changed when she got excited about something academic. It was cute as hell.
Eventually, the conversation lulled. Harry glanced around to make sure no one was paying them much attention before he leaned in a little. "You know, I keep thinking about last night," he said, his voice low. "The way you looked when I finally got you out of that skirt. All flushed and wanting it. You were so wet for me, Hermione. Dripping down your thighs before I even touched you properly."
Hermione's eyes widened, and she pressed her thighs together on the couch. Her breath hitched. "Harry," she whispered, glancing around quickly. "Not here."
He didn't stop, his tone turning teasing. "And when I pushed inside you? Fuck, you were tight. Gripping me like you never wanted me to leave. The sounds you made when you came the first time... that little scream. I can still hear it."
Her fingers shook slightly on the edge of her book. Her cheeks were burning red now, and her eyes had gone a bit glassy. She shifted in her seat, clearly trying to ease the furious ache building between her legs. "Harry, please stop," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Someone might hear."
"But you liked it, didn't you?" he continued, his voice dropping even lower. "Riding my cock like that on your hands and knees, watching us in the mirror. The way your pussy clenched when I slapped your arse. You came so hard the second time, milking me dry. I loved filling you up."
Hermione's breathing was coming in short gasps now. She squeezed her eyes shut for a second, her thighs pressed tight together, one hand gripping the couch cushion hard. "Harry, stop. Please. I can't... not right now."
He smirked, enjoying how worked up she was getting. "Looking forward to doing it again soon. Maybe tonight if you're up for it."
That did it. She grabbed his arm firmly, squeezing hard, her nails digging in a little. "Harry, please. Stop." Her voice was full of desperation, her eyes pleading.
Harry decided to relent, chuckling softly. "Alright, alright. But I meant what I said," he said, before his voice dropped. "And you better believe I'm looking forward to more of that. A lot more. Just like you are."
Hermione's breath hitched at his words, her eyes flicking to his with a mix of mortification and clear desire. She opened her mouth to say something but didn't get the chance as someone else appeared mere seconds later.
"Morning, you two," Ginny said brightly, appearing from the stairs like she owned the place. She looked her usual chipper self, her red hair tied back in a ponytail and a grin on her face as she plopped down on the other side of Hermione. "You both look well rested. Productive evening yesterday?"
Harry smirked as he slid his hand casually onto Hermione's inner thigh under the cover of her skirt while Ginny settled in. His fingers burrowed higher, brushing right against her knickers. Just as he'd expected, she was warm and already damp.
Hermione breathed in sharply, her eyes going wide as she stared at him while he rubbed her pussy lips over her wet knickers.
Ginny caught the movement and the look on Hermione's face. Surprise flashed across her features for half a second before a knowing smirk took over.
"I see," she said, her voice full of amusement and triumph.
Hermione flushed hard, mortified, especially when Harry lifted his fingers to his nose and took a filthy sniff, his eyes half-lidded.
"Merlin, Harry," Ginny chided, though she was still smirking. "In the common room? Anyone could see."
Harry grinned. "Already cast a privacy charm around us. I'd never subject her to that kind of humiliation in public." He paused, glancing at Hermione with a wicked glint. "Unless you're into that sort of thing."
Hermione made a small sound and pointedly looked away, her face a furious shade of red. "You two are impossible."
Ginny laughed. "He's not wrong though. You look like you could use some cooling off, Hermione."
More students were starting to filter into the common room now, grabbing their bags and heading out for breakfast. Laughter and chatter filled the space. Harry kept his hand on Hermione's thigh, his thumb stroking lightly, which only made her squirm more.
"Ron's late as usual," he remarked, checking the time. He pulled out his wand and cast a quick Patronus. The silver stag burst out and bounded up the stairs with instructions to get Ron moving.
Barely a couple of minutes later, Ron came stumbling down the stairs, his ginger hair a mess and his shirt half-tucked. He looked around wildly before spotting them. "Blimey, mate, you gave me a fright with that thing! Thought something was wrong."
Harry waved him over, chuckling. "Just making sure you didn't miss breakfast."
Ron hurriedly fixed his tie and shirt as he approached, still looking disheveled. "I'm absolutely starving. Didn't sleep great."
Ginny rolled her eyes. "Of course you did. You always sleep like a log unless it's food or Quidditch. Or maybe you were dreaming about the Cannons winning again? You know that's impossible, right?"
"Oi, shut it," Ron shot back, but there was no real heat in it. He grinned at Harry and Hermione. "You two ready? I could eat a hippogriff."
Harry gave Hermione's thigh one final squeeze before standing up. He held out a hand to her. She gazed at him with slight exasperation, but there was a rueful smile tugging at her lips. She shook her head and took his hand, letting him pull her to her feet.
The four of them made their way out of the common room together, falling into easy conversation as they headed toward the Great Hall. Ron was already going on about what was probably on the breakfast menu, while Ginny teased him about his bottomless stomach. Hermione walked close to Harry, their shoulders brushing, still a bit flushed but clearly happy as she glanced at him.

The Great Hall was buzzing with the usual Monday morning chaos as the four of them found seats at the Gryffindor table. Ron immediately piled his plate high with sausages, eggs, and toast, chatting animatedly about the Quidditch season starting up. Ginny fired back with a few sharp quips about his appetite, and Hermione chimed in with a reminder about their upcoming Transfiguration essay. Harry nodded along, adding the odd comment, but his attention kept drifting.
He spotted Cho a few tables over at the Ravenclaw section. She was picking at her food, but every so often her eyes flicked toward him. Her lips were pursed slightly, that classic look of someone trying to hide their annoyance. Harry frowned, confused. What was that about? He tried to recall if he'd done something recently.
That was when it hit him like a Bludger to the head. His eyes widened slightly.
"Bollocks," he muttered under his breath.
Hermione glanced over at him, her fork paused halfway to her mouth. "What happened?"
"Nothing," Harry said quickly, forcing a casual shake of his head. "Just remembered something I need to sort out later."
She gazed at him for a moment with slightly furrowed brows, like she wasn't entirely convinced, but then she nodded and went back to her breakfast, cutting into her scrambled eggs.
Harry cursed himself silently. He'd totally forgotten about the flight he'd arranged with Cho yesterday afternoon. They'd agreed to meet at the pitch at two. The stupid outing with Ron and Neville, and then his plans for the whole thing with Hermione in the dorm had pushed it right out of his mind.
He glanced in her direction again. A few seconds later, Cho looked his way once more. Their eyes met properly this time, and Cho's widened slightly, caught out. Harry gave her an apologetic look, his eyebrows raised in a way he hoped said "Sorry."
Cho's expression shifted to unimpressed. She shook her head slightly before turning back to her friend, who was saying something animated about whatever.
Harry let out a small sigh. Looked like it was time for damage control. He couldn't let that slide. Cho had seemed keen, and blowing her off like that wasn't ideal. He made a mental note to catch her after their morning classes or find a quiet moment soon in the evening.
The rest of breakfast passed in a blur of conversation and clattering plates. Ron was on his third helping, complaining about how there was never enough bacon on Mondays. Ginny rolled her eyes and stole a piece from his plate, earning a playful shove. Hermione kept things on track, mentioning a study group, but Harry could tell she was still a bit curious about his earlier mutter. She shot him a couple of sidelong glances but didn't push it.
By the time they finished, the hall was starting to empty out as students headed off to classes. Harry stood up with the others, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He walked with them through the bustling corridors, the group chatting about the usual Monday grind. Hermione reminded them once again about the Transfiguration essay and suggesting they review notes together later. Harry nodded along, contributing the occasional comment, but his mind was already turning over the slip-up with Cho.
Classes passed in a steady flow. In Transfiguration, McGonagall drilled them on theoretical limits with her usual strictness. Harry made a short work of switching a beetle into a button, earning a slightly surprised but clearly approving "Very impressive, Mr. Potter" that was as high a praise one could get from McGonagall. Hermione excelled as expected, her work neat and flawless. Ron's effort turned into something resembling a squashed hat, drawing groans from the class and a stern warning from McGonagall. The practical work kept everyone engaged, with students muttering spells and comparing results at their desks.
Herbology followed, where Professor Sprout had them repotting venomous tentacula seedlings. The greenhouse was humid and filled with the scent of damp soil and magical plants. Harry worked carefully alongside Neville, who was in his element, offering quiet tips. Hannah Abbott was nearby, laughing when a vine tried to wrap around her wrist. Hermione partnered with Susan Bones, discussing hybrid growth patterns with genuine interest. The lesson was hands-on and messy, leaving dirt under fingernails and a few close calls with the wriggling plants.
Potions in the dungeons dragged a bit more. Snape swept through the room like a shadow, criticizing techniques left and right. Harry brewed a passable Shrinking Solution, avoiding the worst of the barbs. Ron's cauldron bubbled over at one point, earning a deduction for Gryffindor. Hermione's potion was textbook perfect, earning a rare grunt of approval. The tense atmosphere kept everyone on edge, with whispered complaints between stirs of the ladle.
By the time the final bell rang for the day, Harry felt the weight of the schedule lift. He parted ways with the others near the common room, claiming he needed to check something in the library. Hermione offered to join him, but Harry gently dissuaded her. He could see she was not happy, but she didn't insist, which Harry took as a positive.
Once alone in a quiet stretch of corridor, he pulled out the Marauder's Map from his bag. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good," he muttered, tapping it with his wand. The map unfolded across the parchment, ink lines spreading to reveal the castle layout and moving dots.
He scanned for Cho Chang. It took him a little while, but he finally spotted where she was. He found her heading down a fourth-floor corridor with a couple of her Ravenclaw friends. Harry folded the map, tucked it away, and made his way over quickly, taking a secret passage that led to the spot they were walking toward and slipping into a shadowed alcove near their path. He leaned against the stone wall, his arms crossed, waiting.
A few minutes later, footsteps approached. Cho walked alongside two girls, one with short brown hair chatting about Charms homework, the other gesturing animatedly about weekend plans. She spotted him in the alcove with ease. Her lips pursed slightly, that familiar mix of annoyance and hesitation crossing her face. Harry met her gaze with a steady, apologetic look, his eyebrows slightly raised as he gestured for her to come.
Cho looked slightly exasperated but she slowed down. "Hey, I'll catch up with you two in the common room," she said to her friends. "Forgot something I need from my locker."
The short-haired girl raised an eyebrow. "You sure? We can wait."
"Nah, it's fine," Cho replied, waving them off. "Go on ahead. I'll catch up in a little."
The other friend grinned. "Don't take too long. We're reviewing those Triwizard notes later, remember? Might actually be useful if one of us gets selected."
"You seriously think any of us are getting chosen over the likes of say, Diggory, Warrington, or even Potter?"
"Err… now that you mention those names, not really…"
They laughed lightly and continued down the corridor, none the wiser. Once their voices faded and the coast was clear, Cho turned and walked slowly toward the alcove.
Harry offered a small smile as she reached him. "Can we talk?"
Cho gave him an unimpressed look, one eyebrow arched. "I'm listening."
"Not here," Harry said, glancing around the corridor. Before she could react, he took her hand gently but firmly. Cho gasped in surprise at the contact, her fingers twitching, but she didn't pull away. He led her a few steps to a small, abandoned classroom right next to the alcove, the door creaking open under his push. They stepped inside, and Harry closed the door behind them with a soft click.
He turned toward her, giving another small smile. The room was dusty, with old desks pushed against the walls and faint light filtering through a grimy window.
Cho crossed her arms, still looking unimpressed. "So? What's this about, Harry?"
Harry rubbed the back of his neck. "Well… yesterday. The flight we planned. I completely forgot. Something came up and it slipped my mind. I'm sorry."
She pursed her lips again. "Slipped your mind… Haven't heard that before. Usually, it's silly excuses."
Harry smiled tightly as she sighed.
"I waited at the pitch. Thought maybe you got held up or changed your mind. Felt pretty stupid after a while."
"I know, and that's on me," Harry said. "No excuse. I got distracted with other stuff and lost track of time. I really regret it now."
Cho stared at him for a long moment, her arms still crossed tight over her chest. The silence stretched as she kept staring at him with the same unimpressed expression. Finally, her lips quirked just a bit, the corner of her mouth twitching upward. She was clearly having a bit of fun at his expense. "You look properly guilty. Good."
Harry sighed, a reluctant smile breaking through. "Yeah, alright. Enjoying this, are you?"
"A little," Cho admitted, her voice lighter. "You did leave me hanging."
"I'll make it up to you," Harry said, stepping closer. "Proper flight, just us. No forgetting this time."
Cho tilted her head, her unimpressed expression softening but not vanishing. "You better make it up well and good. The only reason we're even having this conversation after your little absent game yesterday is because you're lucky enough that I like you that much."
Her eyes widened the second the words left her mouth, like she hadn't meant to say it quite like that. Harry's gaze sharpened immediately, a teasing look emerging on his face. "Oh? So you like me, do you?"
Cho stammered, her cheeks flushing. "I... that's not... I mean..." She took an involuntary step back as Harry started walking closer slowly, like a predator stalking its prey.
He closed the distance steadily. Cho kept retreating until her rear bumped against a desk behind her. She was trapped between him and the solid wood, her eyes wide as she looked up at him.
Harry stopped mere inches away, his body close enough that she could feel his warmth against her. "You like me," he repeated, his voice low and amused. "That's good to know."
"I... it just came out," Cho managed, her voice shaky but gaining a bit more conviction as she caught her bearings. She straightened slightly against the desk. "But yes. I do. A bit. Don't let it go to your head, Potter."
Harry's approval showed in the way his eyes darkened, and he gave her a small nod of encouragement. "Wouldn't dream of it. But hearing you say it? It makes forgetting yesterday feel even worse."
Cho shivered lightly as Harry's hands came up to touch her arms. He started slowly caressing down from her shoulders in a gentle trail. His touch was warm, his fingers tracing lightly over the sleeves of her uniform. He took her hand, lacing their fingers together, and cupped her cheek with the other, his thumb brushing her skin softly as he looked into her eyes.
The moment stretched, charged with tension. "You've been on my mind too," Harry murmured, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Since last year. And even more when I saw you during the World Cup. Seeing you on Saturday… the way you fly, that competitive spark. I meant it when I said I'd like flying with you."
Cho's breath hitched. "Harry..." The way she whispered his name sent a rush of heat straight to his groin. It was soft, almost breathless, full of that mix of nerves and want.
She wet her lips with her tongue, a quick nervous movement, and Harry's stare dropped to it, watching the little glide before their eyes met again. He saw everything he needed there. The hesitation fading, the pull between them clear.
"Good for you that I like you too," Harry said quietly, the words hanging in the air. With that, he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers.
Cho froze for a moment, her lips warm and slightly hesitant at first, but she melted into it quickly, tilting her head to meet him better. Harry kept one hand cupping her cheek, his thumb stroking her smooth skin, while his other hand rested lightly on her waist. She sighed softly into the kiss, her fingers tightening on the front of his robes.
The heat built between them gradually as Harry deepened the kiss, his tongue tracing her lips until she opened for him with a small, needy sound. Their tongues met, sliding together in a slow, exploratory dance that quickly turned hungry. Cho moaned quietly against his mouth, the vibration sending heat straight down Harry's spine. He groaned in response, pressing closer until her back arched against the desk.
Their hands began to wander in no time. Cho's slid up his chest, her fingers digging into the fabric of his shirt as she fisted it and pulled him tighter against her. Harry trailed his hand from her waist down her side, feeling the curve of her hip through her skirt. He squeezed gently, earning a sharp intake of breath from her.
"Harry..." she whispered breathlessly when they broke for air, only to dive back in immediately.
The kiss grew more heated, wetter, and more urgent. Harry nipped at her lower lip, drawing a soft whimper from Cho that made his cock twitch in his trousers. Her hands roamed over his shoulders and back, clutching at him as if afraid he'd pull away. Harry responded by sliding his hand lower, cupping her arse firmly through the layers of fabric. The round, firm flesh filled his palm perfectly. He squeezed harder, kneading it as he pulled her body flush against his.
Cho gasped into the kiss, her hips jerking forward instinctively. "Oh... that feels..." She didn't finish the sentence, instead moaning again as Harry ground against her subtly, letting her feel his growing hardness through their clothes.
Encouraged, Harry grabbed her arse with both hands, lifting her up with ease. Cho's eyes fluttered open in surprise for a split second before she wrapped her arms around his neck and let him hoist her onto the desk. The wood shifted softly under her. She parted her legs without hesitation, her skirt riding up her thighs slightly as she made room for him. Harry stepped between her thighs, pressing close again as their mouths crashed back together.
Now at a better height, the angle was perfect. Harry rocked his hips forward, rubbing his clothed cock against her core through their uniforms. Cho moaned louder, the sound muffled by his lips but no less filthy. "Mmm... Harry," she sighed, her legs tightening around his hips to pull him even closer. Her hands roamed down his back, her nails scraping lightly over fabric, then up into his messy hair, tugging gently.
Harry groaned deeply, the sound rumbling in his chest. One hand stayed on her arse, gripping and massaging the soft cheek while the other slid up her side, his thumb brushing the underside of her breast through her robes and blouse. He could feel the rapid rise and fall of her chest, her nipples hardening against the layers. Cho arched into the touch with a needy whimper, her own hands exploring his chest and stomach, tracing the muscles she could feel beneath his shirt.
They kept kissing fiercely, their tongues tangling and their breaths mingling hot and fast. Harry thrust against her slowly, dragging intentionally, the friction building heat between them even through all the clothes. Cho rocked her hips to meet him, grinding against his hardness with little sighs and moans that drove him wild.
"You feel so good," Harry murmured against her lips between kisses. "So fucking responsive."
Cho shivered, a soft groan escaping her as she nipped at his bottom lip. "Don't stop... please..." Her voice was breathy, laced with arousal. One of her hands slipped lower, pressing against his lower stomach before daring to brush over the bulge in his trousers. Harry hissed in pleasure, his hips jerking forward harder.
Their bodies moved together in a heated rhythm, their hands groping and caressing over fabric, their hips rolling and grinding. Cho's legs wrapped tighter around him, her ankles hooking at his back as she pulled him impossibly closer. Harry kneaded her arse with one hand while the other cupped her breast more fully, his thumb circling where her nipple strained against her clothes. Cho moaned loudly into his mouth, the sound turning into a desperate whine when he pinched the nipple lightly over the layers of fabric.
The abandoned room filled with the wet sounds of their kissing, heavy breathing, and soft fabric rustling. Time stretched, the outside world forgotten as they lost themselves in the heated make-out, their bodies pressed tightly and their hands exploring every curve and plane they could reach over their uniforms.
Finally, they broke apart, both breathing heavily, their chests heaving. Cho's lips were swollen and shiny, her eyes dark with desire as she stared at him. Harry's heart pounded, his cock aching against his trousers from the intense friction.
"That... wasn't what I expected when I agreed to talk," she whispered.
Harry smirked lightly, his thumb still stroking her cheek. "Complaining?"
"No," she said, a small laugh escaping her. "Not at all. But you still owe me that flight."
"Absolutely," Harry agreed. "Four o'clock this Saturday if that works? Or whenever you're free. I'll be there early this time."
Cho nodded, her fingers loosening their grip on his robes but not letting go entirely. "Saturday sounds good. Classes are hectic this week. Don't make me wait again."
"I won't." He leaned in for another quick kiss, lighter this time, just a brush of lips. "Promise."
They lingered in the room a bit longer, talking quietly about nothing and everything. Cho mentioned a tricky Charms assignment, and Harry shared a quick tip that he knew. The conversation between them flowed easier now, the earlier tension replaced by a warm spark. Cho's friends would probably wonder where she'd got to, but neither of them rushed to leave.
Eventually, Harry stepped back, giving her space. "We should head out before someone notices."
Cho smoothed her robes, still a bit flushed. "Yeah. See you, Harry."
She slipped out first, glancing both ways down the corridor before heading off. Harry waited a minute, then followed, a satisfied feeling settling in his chest.
The day had turned around nicely. Classes were done, apologies made, and new plans set. He headed toward the common room, his mind already shifting to the evening ahead with the others, but the memory of Cho's whispered name, that kiss, and their needy touches lingered.
The corridors were quieter now, most students tucked away in common rooms or the library. Harry passed a group of Hufflepuffs discussing weekend plans and nodded politely. Everything felt balanced for the moment. Katie's easy understanding, Hermione's new closeness, Ginny's playful facilitation, Pansy's growing sharpness, and now Cho opening up. It was a lot to juggle, but he was happy to do it.
Back in the Gryffindor common room later, he found Ron and Hermione already there. Ron was sprawled in an armchair, complaining about Potions homework. Hermione looked up from her book with that familiar small smile, the one that carried extra warmth now. Harry dropped into the seat beside her, their thighs brushing.
"Got everything sorted? Whatever you needed to?" she asked quietly while Ron was distracted.
"Yeah," Harry said with a chuckle, knowing she'd circle back. "All good."
She stared at him for a second longer and did not pry further, turning back to her reading. Ginny arrived shortly after, flopping down with her usual energy and in no time, she and Ron had started arguing about how the Cannons would or would not get absolutely smacked in the league, especially by the Harpies.
Harry leaned back, content, enjoying this little moment with his friends as the light faded entirely outside the windows. The year was unfolding in interesting ways, exactly as he'd envisioned, and there was much more to come.
