The sound vibrated through the forest, the ground shaking as shockwaves stirred up a cloud of dust.
Trees were uprooted from the ground, and the flesh of wolves was splattered across the earth.
It was a gruesome massacre, leaving the wolves with no chance to defend themselves as they died in droves.
Meanwhile, in her space, Eva stumbled weakly to the ground, her chest heaving as she stared at the sky.
"What happened out there?" Julian asked, curious, as he leaned down to carry her off the ground.
"I...haa...used that energy bomb to blast them away and rushed in here," Eva explained in ragged breaths, a smug smile curling her lips at her quick action.
Ethan pinched her nose in exasperation. Ever since she learned that dangerous move, she had been using it.
"That power is dangerous, and you could easily get injured or, worse, die. Next time, hide in the space," Ethan chided softly, his eyes dark with seriousness.
