Jumping in the air, Reko threw a kick at Enma. The attack connected but Enma blocked it with his hands in a cross. The force behind it made Enma smash to the ground but no injuries.
Reko followed, flipping in the air with the support from his earth release, he used to make it a support for him to jump before landing another kick at Enma.
The monkey King rolled to the side and whipped his tail at Reko's legs.
The sound of earth cracking could be heard from the attack but Reko was not hurt. Once again, his protective layer on his leg was broken, not the bones.
'He is durable and his attacks pack power.'
Reko analysed as he felt his defensive layer break once again. The monkey King was the third Hokage's summon, strong and durable.
"You are good! I didn't expect I would find someone so good at taijutsu as well as earth release."
The monkey King Enma jumped using his tail and kicked Reko's face.
Reko moved his head back and obstructed Enma with walls made by his earth release.
"You are not all that much, just an extra limb!"
Reko commented as he was done exchanging moves with Enma. The summon was strong, durable, but not any useful against him.
He joined his palm together before Enma could reply. A wave of energy erupted from his body, he was using sage mode.
"This is…."
Enma seemed speechless, he was just about to reply that he didn't use his full arsenal to fight against him.
He stopped mid way. The opponent was strong as it is, just with basic taijutsu they were evenly matched.
This was not taking the ninjutsu, shadow clones, etc, that Reko was not using actively against him.

He knew this familiar chakra, the familiar energy. How could he not? It was nature chakra.
His opponent entered perfect sage mode within seconds!
"What?? How can he use Senjutsu?"
"Did he learn it while traveling with Jiraya?"
Asuma also looked shocked. How could it be? Senjutsu was just another league in itself!

Enma sighed, his stick form was very strong and versatile. Unfortunately, Asuma was not capable of using it.
This battle was as good as lost.

Reko blocked Enma's attack with ease.
The punches and kicks from the monkey King felt like taps in the sage mode.
Add to that, his reflexes was already peaked, not a single attack could go unnoticed in this instance.
But Enma still continued to attack, Reko was just dodging and defending yet the monkey King was barely catching up.
"I want to experience a battle against Senjutsu, that's it."
Enma laughed shamelessly. He was aware that this was no battle. Reko was literally just dodging without retaliating.
He was literally just testing out his reflexes and senses.
But Enma still wanted to spar. In his tribe, he could rarely get the chance to spar with sages. He could not waste this opportunity.
"If I may ask, what sacred land did you learn this sage mode from? I have seen Jiraya use it but this is not from that place."
As they started, Enma asked politely. He had seen and battled Jiraya. This seemed different from the toad sage mode.
Perhaps Asuma got it wrong? This young man learned it from someone else and not from Jiraya.
Enma tried to observe Reko as he battled, but there were no imperfections or special trait that he could relate to.
Orange eyes were pretty similar to that of Toad's. So, he was not sure anymore and decided to ask.
"You are good at observations. It's not from that place."
Reko smiled as he replied to Enma. Since he had shown his sage mode, he decided to show its traits too.
He disappeared from his position, only to appear in front of Enma in a blink of an eye.
Enma instantly backed out, trying to dodge. He had not expected Reko to use space time technique.
This was yet another surprise. He instantly recalled Jiraya's student, Minato.
But that guy used kunai and marking for instantaneous movements.
Enma glanced around, unable to find any marking or object nearby in that instant.
In another blink, Reko once again disappeared but this time, he reappeared behind Asuma, grabbing him by his neck before knocking him out.
The next instant, he appeared in front of Enma to which Enma backed away. Still, Reko used his boosted stats to rush forward and immobilize the monkey King.
"Space time technique! This is not a ninjutsu you learned. It's part of your sage mode, the speciality!"
Enma exclaimed as he witnessed Reko jumping from space without any traces of movement. He was not using any hand signs either. It was like a Kekkei genkai or a purely inherent ability.
So there was only one possibility why Reko did not use this earlier. It was not an inherent ability but the ability from sage mode.
"Once again, you have got good observation skills. Monkey King Enma."
Reko placed the monkey King Enma down on the floor before proceeding to heal the injuries that Enma sustained.
He liked the look of surprise in Enma's eyes. So, he decided that he would heal the pitiful monkey.
"Then that means… This sage mode is not from Mount Myoboku. Which tribe?? Where did you learn this?"
Enma asked curiously. What tribe had space time techniques? Whose trait was this?
He didn't remember any such clans. Could this be another hidden tribe?
"Ha.. do you not know? Don't you guys have knowledge of major tribes?"
Reko had almost answered when he decided to get information about the hamster king instead.
From what he knew, most of the tribes and summons were well known. So, it would be easy for the monkey King to guess his association.
With this, he would also be able to gain some information about his summon.
"Your eyes look orange. It's similar to that of Toad's but the energy you possess is obviously not from that place."
Enma mumbled as he tried to observe Reko up close. He could not find anything from his memories.
