The source of this creeping dread was The Infernal Matriarch; she had just launched an attack against Morando, the Deputy Commander, and Alexander.


It was an eerie power that even the Deputy Commander and Alexander couldn't resist. The Infernal Matriarch exhaled three bubbles of black, ghostly mist. Without warning, these phantom bubbles descended upon the three men, enveloping them one by one.


As the mist swallowed them, the Deputy Commander and Alexander felt their bodies violently warp. Their flesh and bone twisted, mutating into spectral skin. More accurately, they were being transformed into clothing: one into a mage's robe, the other into a swordsman's tunic.


Watching from the sea of laws, Orion widened his eyes at the bizarre and horrifying sight.
