This was a mutated beast—Spirit Snake.

The wolf felt the air of death suffocated its surroundings.

A cold voice echoed from the wolf before a silver flash appeared on top of its head. A gu immortal stood above the wolf, revealing that he was not the wolf. Instead, this unnamed wolf was this gu immortal's enslaved beast!
"A fierce warrior?" The gu immortal reminisced. His laughter was cold and mocking.
"Who the hell are you?!" Han Dong hissed, not really expecting an answer as he observed the gu immortal.
This man was certainly handsome, his five features proper and in place. His brown eyes were deep and awash by vicissitudes of life. A snow-white leather robes line with fur covered his broad-shouldered frame. The last of Lu Qing Ming's earlier wind flew around, swaying the man's rough brown hair.
"A life of fierceness and loyalty stolen by bandits."
"Praised across the lands as wolf incarnate."
"Betrayed by blood and bonds, life nurtured by a Wolf Fetus Burial."
"Enslaving millions of wolves and making their howls mine."
