"Mom..." Keith muttered as his steps slowed down.
"Please..." the voice came once more as Keith tried to get through the crowd, but he was nothing but a kid.
How could he shove these adults away?
Keith struggled, but to no avail. Luckily for him, there was a hole in the crowd large enough for him to see what was going on.
At the front of the crowd was the town head and more than a dozen men, each armed with a thick wooden stick.
They stood behind the town head, while opposite them were Keith's parents.
His father held his mother in his arms as Keith's mother's face was filled with tears.
"You witch! How long have you been causing chaos in our town?" the town head said with a furious expression as the crowd shouted in agreement.
They all looked at Keith's mother and father with anger.
Raising his hand, the crowd quieted down.
"It all ends now," the town head spoke slowly before turning to Keith's father.
