A loud explosion rang out as the Mana-Devouring Beast was obliterated, but Azar wasn't happy. His gaze turned cold as he looked at the giant horde they were fighting.
One weakness of Tier 3 Magi was that they had to chant their spells before casting them. This made them vulnerable to Tier 3 Mana-Devouring Beasts, which were fast and possessed powerful physical bodies.
Knowing this, Azar understood that he needed to be able to cast spells instantaneously.

Azar's mind spun as an idea came to him.
What if he created the fundamental runes for the spell beforehand so that he could cast it instantly?

He muttered as many spells as he could, causing invisible runes to form beside him as they spun silently.

The earth cracked apart as a giant stone palm emerged and smashed several Tier 3 Mana-Devouring Beasts into meat paste.
