The sun rose over the horizon as the third day arrived.
At the front of the city, the soldiers were already prepared. They were aware that some, if not most, of them would not survive today, yet they still stood ready for battle. The fear within them had faded as they prepared themselves for what was to come.
Nuk watched from the forest with a grin.
Of course, with the "success" of the past two days, they had grown confident and proud. At the very least, they believed they could still hold the demon army back.
"You should join this war," Nuk said to Mikel beside him.
Mikel nodded.
With that said, Nuk clenched his fist as his crimson eyes glowed. A projection briefly appeared behind him, representing Void, as Nuk gave his command.
The demons growled and roared.
Although the contract meant that most of the souls would ultimately go to the Rank 1 demon, a small portion still flowed to them. That small amount accumulated over time, making them increasingly stronger.
