This is just a small county a hundred miles across, surrounded by mountains that block the southward Gang Winds. Thus, the ground is warm, and the land is fertile, with this tiny county supporting millions of people.
Yet with the county being converted into a Pure Land, more than six hundred temples of various sizes were built here, and people perform their devotions day and night, leaving much of the land abandoned.
When Wei Yuan flew over, his Divine Sense swept across the land below, taking everything in at a glance. This county city had not experienced war for hundreds of years, so people from the surrounding areas migrated here. It wasn't long before the population reached the limit of what the land could support, maintaining a state where most people were half-starved.
