Hmpf, a muffled grunt escaped the masked man, yet he endured without yelling in pain.
"Lin Tian, stop!" Shen Lin called out before the other two masked men could speak.
Lin Tian glanced at him sideways, and coldly replied, "Feeling sorry for a petty thief trying to steal the Shennong Ding? Is he one of your Divine Clan? Surely not, the exalted Divine Clan would never stoop to such despicable acts, not even daring to show their faces!"
Rendered speechless by the question, Shen Lin gripped his black sword tightly, his anger rising beyond measure.
"You'll pay the price, don't worry about me, just grab the Shennong Ding!" The masked man with the severed hand growled maliciously.
With a buzzing sound, the elder among the masked men acted without hesitation, conjuring Sword Qi before him that shot towards Lin Tian. Simultaneously, the other masked man advanced, trying to cooperate with the elder to force Lin Tian back and rescue his companion.
