Actually, Beiming couldn't wait for Lin Zifeng to make a move and kill Nantong right now. By then, the position of the Four Lords would be entirely under his control! But he never considered whether he would actually survive and get out of this Human Sacrifice Tower? With Dongfang Ziyue's life in his hands, would Lin Zifeng really be scared?
"Beiming, you despicable old thing, let me go!"
Dongfang Ziyue had already awakened from the fear of being held hostage. Feeling the murderous intent on her fair neck, her pretty face turned cold as she sternly shouted.
"Hmph, what are you? How dare you order this Lord!"
Scolded by Dongfang Ziyue, Beiming was infuriated. Originally, before coming here, he thought he had victory in his grasp. Who would've thought he'd end up having to take a woman hostage to stay alive? If not for keeping promises, with his standing as one of the Four Lords, he would never have done such a thing.
