After about half a day, Arthur and Helic descended upon the City of Life.
Both of them had their brows tightly furrowed, a hint of displeasure appearing on their faces.
Upon seeing each other, both were momentarily stunned.
"Elmer called you here too?"
Arthur broke the silence first.
Helic nodded and said, "Yes, he sent someone with a message saying there was a matter of great import regarding the survival of the Ancient World that he wanted to discuss with me, and so, I came immediately. He also mentioned that no matter what urgent matters we were dealing with, we ought to set them aside."
"He told me the same thing," Arthur said, frowning.
Upon hearing his words, doubt grew in Helic's eyes: "If he truly said that, then given his temperament, he wouldn't be lying. Could it be, has there been a change concerning the Heart of the World again?"
"The Heart of the World certainly hasn't changed, otherwise we wouldn't need to wait for Elmer to inform us," Arthur said.
