Chapter 66 - Level Five in Shadow God's Pride
Vesper was breathing heavily, her staff vibrating in her hands and a giant sloth like shadow creature at her feet with a cracked skull. She and her shadows had moved quickly through the death zone and it still took them three weeks to arrive at the level five seed.
Her breathing slowed as her mind swam from the call of the seed. It was a sweet alluring call that seemed to tempt and repel at the same time. She looked to it, a large sphere of black and silver light with seven golden bands wrapping around it as if holding all of its power together.
