Chapter 525 - Chapter 525: Big Fish and Small Shrimp

"Master, I'm really not used to seeing you like this."

The collar of the cloak stood up as it let out a soft whispering sound.

"Don't talk nonsense," Wade said. "Make yourself look more ordinary."

"Wouldn't it be better to just turn invisible?"

The cloak muttered, and as if dyed, turned into a plain black from top to bottom, blending almost seamlessly with the night.

Wade glanced around, then casually helped up a young student who had fallen. "Are you alright?" he asked.

"I'm okay..." the girl said as she looked up—only to see the young wizard before her. Her eyes widened as she shouted, "Y-You're Harry Potter!"

Immediately, people nearby turned to look in their direction.

Having appeared on Streaming Mirror several times, Harry had become a true world-famous "celebrity wizard." Even students from other countries could recognize him at a glance.

Wade frowned. "It's chaotic here. Get into the forest quickly."

"Okay, alright."

The girl nodded, but her eyes were still locked on his face. It wasn't until Wade gave her a gentle push that she stumbled off toward the trees.

Wade looked around again, and just like the other kind-hearted wizards, ran toward the most chaotic area.

However, compared to everyone else, his small stature made him a bit conspicuous.

Wade had just taken down a leprechaun with a Stunning Spell when someone suddenly grabbed his arm. He turned and saw—it was Sirius Black.

"Harry!" the man behind him called out anxiously. "What are you doing here? Never mind, come with me!"

He tugged Wade toward the forest. Wade didn't resist. Watching the man's back, he curled his lips slightly with a hint of disdain in his eyes.

As they passed a palace-style tent, the man suddenly cried out, "Ouch!" and fell, rolling into the shadow behind the tent. He groaned in pain and clutched his leg.

"What happened?" Wade stood a short distance away and asked with concern.

"My leg... I think it's broken." The man reached out with effort and said, "Give me a hand, Harry."

"Oh." Wade responded and stretched out his hand. But before the man could grab it, Wade pulled it back.

The man grabbed at nothing. Looking at Wade's serious and concerned face, he began to wonder if he'd accidentally said "give me five" instead of "give me a hand."

—Should I say it again?

As he continued pretending to be in pain, ready to speak again, he saw Wade rummage through his pocket and hand him something.

The man looked down… it seemed to be a badge?

"What's this?" he asked instinctively, holding the badge.

"A one-way ticket." Wade waved cheerfully. "Bon voyage, Mr. Troka."

Disguised as Sirius, Gale Troka stared in shock. "How did you—"

Before he could finish, he felt a hook yank him from behind his navel. His feet left the ground, and he flew upward!

BANG!

The vampire hit the ground, rolled twice, and when he lifted his head, he saw a huge furnace in front of him. Inside, the coal was burning a brilliant golden red, and the heat radiating from it seemed enough to scorch hair.

Gale hurriedly scrambled backward on all fours, but the back of his head bumped into someone's leg.

He turned around and saw an old man wearing odd protective goggles, holding a slender-necked glass bottle, looking down at him.

"...Wade?" the old man called out tentatively in a low voice.

"Wade Grey?"

Gale jumped in fright and quickly looked around, thinking that if he turned his head, he would see that terrifying face.

But he didn't.

"Not him?" Wovilette muttered in disappointment. "I thought that Wade finally used the Portkey I gave him... Who are you, young man?"

"I..." Gale looked at him, and heart pounded wildly. Just as he was about to cautiously probe the old man's identity, the door was pushed open.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

Before he could even see who had entered, a spell hit him squarely. Gale stiffened like a board and collapsed to the ground with his limbs pressed tightly to his body, completely immobile—only his eyeballs could still roll around in his sockets.

"I'll be taking this guy with me, Wovilette," Antoine said, grabbing Gale by the leg and dragging him out the door. He smiled and added, "He's a wanted criminal. Wade isn't in a position to deal with him right now, so he sent him over here."

"Oh, alright."

Wovilette didn't fully understand what was going on, but since the intruder wasn't Wade, he didn't bother asking too many questions. Instead, he picked up the badge Gale had dropped on the floor, gave it a puff of air, and wiped it twice with his thumb.

"That brat… I give him something to save his life, and he just tosses it around like garbage."

Grumbling to himself, the old man re-enchanted the badge with a Portkey spell, stuffed it into a small pouch, labeled it "To: Wade Gray," and sent it off with an owl.

As he watched the gray bird fly away, Wovilette couldn't help but sigh and murmured softly to himself:

"To be chosen by Gellert… that's no small burden… Wade, you really have to take care of yourself."

...

Two flowers bloom, each representing a different branch.

Wade, who was hoping to hook a big fish but accidentally caught a shrimp instead, continued swaggering around disguised as Harry. Meanwhile, on the other side of the camp, the real Sirius Black found himself in a rather awkward situation.

Two and a half hours earlier, after the match ended and people began leaving the stadium, Sirius knew Harry was being looked after by the Weasleys. He quietly followed the Malfoy family as they exited their private box.

The crowd on the road was packed shoulder to shoulder, and Lucius Malfoy had no idea he was being followed.

In fact, in this kind of environment, it was extremely difficult to tail anyone. Barely five meters out of the stadium, Sirius Black lost sight of the Malfoy family and was completely swallowed by the crowd.

But he wasn't the least bit worried. With a subtle movement, he transformed amid the crowd—where there was once a man, a large black dog now weaved through the chaos. His Animagus transformation was incredibly smooth, and with the darkness of night, no one around him noticed a thing.

The black dog twitched its nose, catching a faint whiff of perfume in the air. Without hesitation, it padded forward, slipping between legs and feet, until it once again spotted the Malfoy family's pale blond hair.

Draco Malfoy was waving his wand, unconsciously mimicking Krum's dramatic dive on the field. He said excitedly:

"I thought he was going to crash and die—that was a perfect Wronski Feint! Genius strategy! If I could master that move, I won't lose to Potter, that scar-headed git!"

"And then what?" Lucius Malfoy cut him off coldly, sneering. "Break your neck by accident? Draco, I thought you understood—Quidditch is just a game. You don't need to risk your life with such dangerous tricks just to impress an audience!"

"I..." Draco said stubbornly, "I just... I just want to beat Potter! I hate losing to him!"

"Then practice your spellwork more!" Lucius snapped. "I'd much rather you outperform Harry Potter academically—or crush him in a proper duel!"

Draco's pale face immediately flushed bright red.

"Your father's right, Draco," his mother, Narcissa, said gently, running her elegant fingers through his wind-tousled hair. "Don't stake your life on a game. Even the Quidditch World Cup isn't worth your safety, let alone a school match."

The black dog hiding nearby snorted through its nose, casting a scornful sideways glance at the spoiled blond boy.

As they spoke, the group had walked into a quiet corridor, now some distance away from the rest of the crowd.

"Narcissa, take Draco into the forest. Don't come back until the chaos is over," Lucius said, then looked at his son and added, "Stay with your mother. Don't wander off—or you'll lose next term's allowance."

Narcissa, who was pale-faced, looked disapproving but said nothing. She simply nodded silently. Draco immediately asked, "Father, what are you going to do?"

Lucius Malfoy leaned on his cane, and a cold smile curled at his lips.

"A night of celebration calls for a bit of entertainment," he said. "We're going to find a few Muggles... for fun."
