Chapter 625 - Chapter 625: Settling In

The environment has a powerful influence on those within it, and the atmosphere of the Huaxia Empire naturally inspired everyone to contribute their efforts and sweat for the greater good.

After arriving at the designated station near the Agricultural Valley, Lin Qian led the Mu Ling Clan off the temporarily docked cloudship and onto a special soul-powered vehicle, which took them to the newly established Agricultural Valley.

This Agricultural Valley was something Lin Qian had purchased from the system's store and had prearranged to be installed in this location. From this, Lin Qian had confirmed something important: as long as he authorized it, anyone could use the tools from the system's store.

The time-acceleration tool used for this was set to a "finished" state, meaning the current available model was the Agricultural Valley. Lin Qian believed that with more research into other forms of time-accelerated development, the system's tools would be able to create even more diverse and advanced constructs in the future.

A specially built road led directly into the Agricultural Valley. Once the soul-powered vehicle arrived, it stopped at a station within the valley. Lin Qian gestured to the surroundings, saying, "As you can see, this is the Agricultural Valley, where you will be working and carrying out your tasks from now on."

Upon disembarking, Mu Houde and the others were visibly astonished, taking in the sights with wide eyes.

The Agricultural Valley was characterized by vast, flat terrain, with an incredibly dense concentration of spiritual energy. But it wasn't just the abundant spiritual energy that left them in awe.

"The spiritual energy in this valley is perfectly suited for the growth of plants!" Mu Houde exclaimed after a brief inspection, bowing to Lin Qian. "Your Majesty, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth here is rich in the essences of wood, water, and earth. Such an environment is ideal for the growth of plants. Not only that, but the spiritual energy is soft and continuously nourishing. It feels as though it was custom-made for plant cultivation."

"In the past, our clan would go to great lengths to artificially create similar environments for cultivating plants, but it was never as natural or stable as this. Our artificial environments would often collapse, and all our efforts would be lost in an instant. But here, with this natural setting, we don't have to worry about such risks."

Lin Qian nodded, impressed by Mu Houde's explanation. "As expected from the Mu Ling Clan, your innate talents are remarkable. This is your first time in the valley, and you've already noticed so much."

At the same time, Lin Qian sent this information to the experts back in the Fantasy Star.

"I see. It seems that their world has some things we can learn from," muttered Hua Sheng in the Tian Gong Department as he watched the scene unfold on the tactical display. He made note of the details.

Next to him, Zhuge Ming chuckled and said, "As Confucius once said, 'Among three people, there is always something to learn from one of them.' It's a shame the sage hasn't awakened yet. If he were awake, he'd probably beg His Majesty to let him roam freely, spreading his teachings of virtue and learning."

"Unfortunately, it'll be a while before he wakes up," Hua Sheng laughed lightly. "There are quite a few others in line ahead of him."

Mu Houde and the rest of the Mu Ling Clan continued their tour of the Agricultural Valley, exploring different areas such as the cold zone and the lava zone. These areas were designed for growing specific types of spiritual herbs that thrived in extreme environments.

After thoroughly exploring the valley, the Mu Ling Clan members were overjoyed. This land was perfect, exactly what they had always dreamed of. Being able to grow spiritual herbs in such a fertile environment was a blessing beyond words for their clan.

"Your Majesty, it seems we've finally found our new home," Mu Houde said, bowing respectfully to Lin Qian after the tour.

They believed that living near the Agricultural Valley would be their ideal residence.

"Our people need to rest and recover, and the valley's environment isn't suitable for habitation. If we could live nearby, that would be perfect," Mu Houde added, showing his gratitude. "We will make full use of this Agricultural Valley and live up to Your Majesty's expectations."

"Very well," Lin Qian replied, pleased. "Submit your clan's living preferences and requirements to the Huogong Department. The Dwarf Clan craftsmen and Huogong artisans will come to help build a new city for you. We'll call it Mu Ling City. Since your clan has joined the Huaxia Empire and taken on this significant responsibility, this is part of your reward."

"As your clan grows, you can apply to expand your city or even build new cities, though there will be a fee for the Huogong Department's services in the future. It won't be free forever."

"Whether your clan continues working for the Agricultural Department or chooses another path will be up to you," Lin Qian added, gesturing toward the civil servant who had accompanied them. "He'll handle the specifics. I have other matters to attend to, but I hope that when I return to the Agricultural Valley, I can feel proud of the Mu Ling Clan's accomplishments."

Mu Houde and the others bowed deeply, their voices full of determination. "Your Majesty, we will not let you down!"

Lin Qian nodded in satisfaction, and a grand chariot drawn by dragon-horses appeared, ready to carry him away.

After Lin Qian departed, the civil servant approached Mu Houde. "Minister Mu, as the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture, you now hold a certain level of authority within the Huaxia Empire. His Majesty has been informed of this. Let me introduce you to some key figures in the Southern Region that you'll be interacting with from now on, such as Her Majesty the Empress, His Majesty's senior disciple Gao Benli, and the original follower Lei Qian."

As Lin Qian's chariot sped through the sky toward New Qin City, he asked Zhuge Ming, "How are things progressing in the Riot Star Sea?"

"We've infiltrated about 80% of the Riot Star Sea. A portion of the War Beast Army, now without their armor, has begun sneaking into the Western Continent to gather intelligence. Based on the information provided by the Mu Ling Clan, we plan to land in the territory of the Barbarian Clan," Zhuge Ming reported.

Lin Qian nodded thoughtfully. "Hurry and gather as much intel as possible. The sooner we get a complete picture, the sooner we can rescue the Three Elders. They might not be able to hold out much longer."

"Understood, Your Majesty," Zhuge Ming replied, his tone serious.
