Ron stood silently with his black spear in hand, his white sightless eyes facing Ul despite still being blind and deaf.

A faint monstrous smile appeared on his face.

His Iron Pulse was fully active now. Through his thermal perception, the world around him appeared like living fire. Every movement, every fluctuation of heat, every flow of mana around Ul became visible to him in burning outlines.
Then Ron slowly breathed out.
The blazing blue flames surrounding his body began shrinking.
