Confusion flickers in her gaze, subtle but undeniable, because a mistake isn't something she allows into her calculations.
"I'm not here because you hold power over the sea," Medusa continues, her tone even, composed, each word placed with unsettling precision. "I'm here because you think suffering will make me kneel."
