The morning sunlight began to warm the Labyrinth City of Orario.
The city immediately came alive with its usual bustle, filled with the various activities of its residents.
Rows of adventurers clad in full armor and armed with weapons could be seen streaming toward the Tower of Babel to enter the Dungeon and begin another day filled with life-and-death risks.
Amid the dense crowds, Charlie walked leisurely without attracting anyone's attention. Not long ago, however, every time he appeared in a public place, he would inevitably become the center of attention.
That was only natural, considering his absurd leveling speed and his status as one of the few highly respected Level 6 adventurers—while his advancement to Level 7 had deliberately not yet been reported to the Guild.
However, the effects of his Transcendent power had changed everything!
That mystical power passively manipulated the world's perception, causing other people to simply forget his existence.
Even Anna, the flower girl whom Charlie had once painstakingly rescued from a human trafficking syndicate, now passed by him without so much as a glance, having completely forgotten the person who had saved her.
After silently making his way down the streets, Charlie's footsteps finally came to a stop in front of a magnificent and unique complex of buildings constructed on a piece of land that was not particularly large.
Several tall towers had been built overlapping one another, supporting each other, while the tower in the center stood firmly as the tallest of them all.
This was Twilight Manor, the headquarters of Loki Familia.
Directly in front of the sturdy iron gate, two male members of Loki Familia could be seen standing guard. They were Kalos and Lloyd.
Seeing a stranger in casual clothes continuing to approach without any sign of stopping, Kalos immediately stepped forward and raised a hand to stop Charlie.
"Stop right there!" Kalos shouted firmly. "Loki Familia's territory isn't open to the public. If you don't have official business or an appointment, please turn around and leave."
Charlie was not offended. He calmly stopped walking and looked at the two guards.
"I'm here to see Ais."
"Please tell her that Charlie Avalon has come looking for her."
Hearing the Sword Princess's name casually mentioned by a stranger, Lloyd and Kalos immediately exchanged puzzled and bewildered glances. They tried to recall whether there was an adventurer or important guest named Charlie Avalon among their Familia's list of contacts.
Fortunately, the cliché scene straight out of a Chinese novel, where low-level gate guards deliberately picked a fight, belittled, or provoked the protagonist, did not happen here. As members of one of the strongest factions in Orario, they had been properly trained and disciplined.
"Charlie Avalon, huh...?" Kalos muttered for a moment before looking back at Charlie. "All right, wait here for a moment. I'll go inside and ask Ais-sama about this directly."
Charlie nodded slowly, offering a faint, friendly smile. "All right. Thank you very much for your help."
Kalos immediately turned around and headed into the headquarters, leaving Lloyd standing guard and keeping a wary eye on Charlie to make sure the strange young man did not do anything suspicious around Loki Familia's headquarters.
As he made his way through the corridors of Twilight Manor, Kalos asked several other Familia members he passed about the Sword Princess's whereabouts. After asking a few people, he finally learned that Ais was currently having her breakfast in the main cafeteria.
Upon hearing this, Kalos immediately changed direction and headed toward the cafeteria.
Several minutes later, he arrived at the enormous and bustling cafeteria. After all, Loki Familia was one of the largest factions in Orario, with more than a hundred members. Thus, a lively scene like this in the morning was unavoidable for them.
Kalos swept his gaze around the room for a moment, scanning the people enjoying their morning meals. It did not take long for him to find a table in the corner of the room, where Ais was having breakfast with Lefiya and Tiona.
Kalos immediately walked toward the table.
Seeing Kalos approach, Tiona—whose personality was exceptionally friendly and who could easily get along with anyone—immediately waved her hand and greeted him cheerfully.
"Yo, Kalos!"
"Have you had breakfast yet? If not, come sit down and have breakfast with us! Today's food is really good!"
Kalos smiled faintly and politely shook his head. "Thank you for the offer, Tiona-sama, but I already had breakfast before starting my shift."
"Today happens to be my turn to guard the main entrance, and I'm here because a strange man just arrived and insisted on meeting Ais-sama."
At that very moment, Tiona's eyes immediately lit up.
Her deeply ingrained desire to gossip suddenly skyrocketed. She immediately leaned toward Ais, nudging the golden-haired girl's shoulder with a teasing expression.
"Wow, wow, wow! Hear that, Ais!"
"So you're really as popular as ever! Who's this other guy who came all the way to the front gate just to confess to you, huh? Come on, tell us quickly!"
Ais, who was holding her spoon, could only blink innocently, looking confused by her friend's sudden teasing.
On the other side of the table, Lefiya suddenly felt displeased.
After all, she was a yuri, and Ais was both her idol and the object of her wild fantasies whenever she indulged in delusions.
Naturally, she harbored an intense possessive jealousy and instinctively hated any man who tried to approach Ais.

"But anyway, Kalos... what's the name of the man who was bold enough to come all the way here to meet Ais at Loki Familia's headquarters? Now I'm curious!"
Kalos opened his mouth, about to say the name 'Charlie Avalon' that he had heard only a few minutes earlier. However, before even a single syllable could escape, his tongue suddenly went numb. His brows drew tightly together, and his expression became deeply confused.
"That man's name... is... huh?" Kalos held his temple, blinking in bewilderment. "I-I... I don't remember. That's strange. I'm absolutely certain that the other party clearly introduced himself back at the gate."
"But why... why did I forget his name so quickly? I'm still young. Why am I already this senile?!"
This was not a mistake or a weakness in Kalos's memory at all.
What was happening to him right now was the direct result of Charlie's Transcendent power, whose passive effect was currently manipulating the world's perception.
Not even five minutes had passed since Kalos parted ways with Charlie and left him at the entrance to Twilight Manor, yet the result was already this severe—Charlie's existence was beginning to evaporate from the memories of the people around him.
