"Ming Yue..."
"Ming Yue..."
Wang Doudou had originally intended to give Ming Yue a warning, but that had only accelerated her departure from the Wang Family. Although he didn't like Ming Yue, he couldn't live without her—or, to be precise, the Wang Family couldn't. If he were the only one in charge, they would eventually squander their fortune.
Originally, he had wanted to train Ming Yue to be a loyal dog for the Wang Family, but now things had gone completely awry. It was a classic case of trying to steal a chicken only to lose the rice used as bait. In the end, he had only managed to hurt himself.
But what could he do, as angry and anxious as he was? He was far away in America, completely powerless over the situation back home. Still, the thought of doing nothing was unbearable; Wang Doudou couldn't let it go.
He pulled up his phone's contact list, found a name, and dialed the number.
"Uncle Lin, it's Doudou."
"Doudou, what's the matter?"
