Chapter 1 - A HEART BREAKING TERMINATION

In broad daylight:

"I I think... I think I can't continue with this relationship, l am truly sorry!"

In the softest romantic voice tone possible, Nadia Browne, a spotless skin beta, young lady with big bright eyes which gave her an ethereal glow, stutteringly terminated a relationship on a phone call.

Behind the phone, a tall magnificent dude named Bob Lee, on bloodspot eyes he laughed indifferently when the young lady spoke such mood killing words in his ear, unexpectedly and abruptly. No woman alive couldn't loose her breath for him. But this time round, the odds had shifted against him.

Trembling in his deep male voice:

"You're joking, right? I've been calling your number desperately each and every hour for two consecutive days but actually, you've not been answering! Tell me. Did I wrong you in any way?"

"..."

Bob Lee seemed to be so fond of Nadia. He stepped left and right confoundedly, then raised his voice aggressively on phone.

"Don't' be silent on me, speak up! Why have you neglected talking to me for two and a half days now...? Because it's already afternoon!"

Immediately, however, he realised his voice tone had gone out of line while speaking to the first love of his life and straightaway, he calmed down with an apology.

"Okay, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to yell at you _ understand why I'm behaving this way. You know I love you so much, right?"

"....."

He yearned for her voice in his ears.

"Hello hello...., Nadia talk to me, please! You don't believe me, right? Okay. I know it may sound crazy to say that I love you but I mean it. Yes we've known eachother for a very short period of time, but what am sure of is; I need you in my life. These feelings I developed for you are deeper than the ocean!"

Nadia kept her phone on ear but she barely uttered a word. Bob Lee was yearning, pulling hard on a rope that was not coming. He could hear small sounds of her environment in the phone background including her breath but not a word from her.

He longed persistently.

"Nadia I'm talking to you, I know you can hear me!"

Suddenly, so manupilative, careless in her voice tone she responded.

"Of course I can hear you."

His response panicked:

"Look Nadia, our relationship is only a week old. Um..., three days ago, we were up all night long making love and playing games," he blushed to his own words, "me and you were so energetic and beautiful on our first romantic night."

Bob Lee went further and added:

"Before I even asked, you climbed and sat comfortably on top of my unclothed body, and gazed intently straight into my eyes. Slowly, you lowered your head down and kissed my forehead; "such an elusive unicorn in bed, it was so amazing; you ride so well... thank you!" That's exactly how you complimented my bed performance with your charming soft voice, which accompanied a beautiful smile you wore on a sweaty face."

Immediately, Nadia Browne exclaimed an abrupt emphasis.

"I wasn't lying!"

Bob Lee wondered in wary.

"Really Nadia! So, tell me _ does this behavior make you feel any better? Or, it is that one trick ladies like you use to check and see if men can really cry _ I don't get it!"

"No!" She replied carelessly still.

He sighed confoundedly and scratched his head adding:

"To tell the truth Nadia, it's like am walking at the edge of a knife right now, so tough, I'm bleeding. Deep inside I feel very bad and I don't know if you can relate. The feeling is killing me quietly and am about to run crazily on the streets right now!"

Trying to speak funny with fondness, Bob Lee yearned to be understood.

"...."

He insisted begging, expecting her to spice up the conversation with some love and affection.

"I need to know what the matter is..."

But Nadia didn't care.

She replied:

"Nothing is the matter."

Boldly she added, hitting the last nail in the coffin and turned off the phone immediately.

"I just don't need this relationship any more."

"Nadia hello, hello, hello...!" Yearning to hear her voice again but she was offline already.

Nadia Browne chucked Bob Lee out of her life unexpectedly, hereby leaving him hanging, with a look of perplexity on his face.

In his glass walled executive office room, set at the top most floor on a skyscraper where he was standing, slowly Bob Lee bent dizzily and faced down with a heavy head spin.

As heartbreak pains continued occupying his soul and spinning his head, he held both his hands on his knees, breaking down slowly by slowly. At this moment, his legs couldn't support him to stand any more that, finally, he broke down completely, fainted and slumped to the floor; unconsciously blacking out.

In an expensive neighborhood with beautiful apartment blocks, up, inside one of the apartment blocks, here stood Nadia Browne in an apartment, next to a very wide transparent window where bright afternoon sunlight rays touched her skin.

She was so relaxed, looking through the window, with her mobile phone in the hand after tearing Bob Lee's heart in pieces.

Listening to a nice jam which played on radio, suddenly, from behind her approach a man who was a little bit older than Bob Lee. The man only had a white pair of boxers covering tight on his lower body, sipping on a white cup of tea he had in a hand. Conveniently, Marlon started dancing body to body, right behind Nadia Browne.

Slowly, like a moving snake, his other free hand touched around Nadia's waist upto the front and untied the soft belts attached to the silk designer pink bedroom gown she was dressed in, loose.

With a smile so bright, Nadia turned around. Their eyes met and gently, she joined his dancing to the music on radio. As he leaned in, she lifted her hands and placed them on his naked chest.

Their lips met softly at first. She moved her hands further upto around his neck were she held gently amidst a gentle kiss exploration which further deepened into passion and longing, increasingly unbothered by her mobile phone dropping down on the floor.

Unknowingly to Bob Lee, the beautiful bird he trusted with high hopes of sharing his world and fly the love journey together, already had another world were it felt more comfortable to spread its wings and fly.

In other words, Nadia Browne had a lover whom she cherished so dearly, ready to sacrifice everything for.

And Bob Lee, just like any other gorgeous man with a striking force of attraction, he got lucky to taste the forbidden fruit which fell his way from another man's garden, in a shortest time.

*****

In a cinema hall they met just a week ago. Nadia Browne was still sitting back, enjoying her packet of popcorn after the movie had ended. When the lights came on, Bob Lee, who stood up with fellow elites ready to walk out, spotted a stunningly glowing young lady seated in a corner, up on the next row.

As a dude who trusted in his potential to bring down to his feet any lady alive, with his striking looks and status he approached her. Very right in his expectations, Nadia Browne's mind was straight away eaten up by the charming looks of a dude who walked her way.

"Excuse me gorgeous, my name is Bob Lee...."

Four days later, somewhere in an executive suite in a noble hotel, Nadia was underneath white sheets, clothes off, rubbing bodies with Bob Lee.

And after that romantic night which was filled with sweat, panting and laughter including playing while they sipped on the same champagne bottle without minding glasses, like they had known eachother for some good years, Bob Lee didn't remain the same. He developed deep feelings of love and affection for Nadia Browne.

*****

On a little foggy sight when he sluggishly opened his eyes, a female voice was calling him to wake.

"Boss... boss it's me, your secretary Ishtar."

Bob Lee uttered in a weak sigh.

"Ishtar?"

So anxious about her boss' health, she leaned in and touched his hand as he was still down, laying on his office couch.

"Yes boss. You made us so worried. Are you feeling any better now?"

"How long have I been unconscious?"

"Less than sixty minutes boss. But the doctor said you just need enough rest."

As she supported him to get off his back and sit, Ishtar told him:

"For the past two days your conduct was worrying. You've not been resting well...."

So caring, she added:

"I'm here if you need anything or someone to talk to."

All of a sudden, Bob Lee raised his left hand, grabbed Ishtar's hand. He leaned her in, his mouth closest to her ear, and in a barely audible voice, filled with seriousness asked:

"Marry me!"

Ishtar, startled in sudden shock, her heart raced.

"What?!"
