The man in the lead looked her over, compared her with the photo on his phone, and said, "That's her. Take her."
The door of Gu Anjin's car was forcibly yanked open. A man with an eyepatch over one eye made an inviting gesture at her.
"Miss Gu, please get out of the car."
She only panicked for an instant before calming down. Looking at them, she asked, "Who are you?"
"Our boss wants to see you. You'll know when the time comes."
"Fine." Gu Anjin knew hesitating was pointless and agreed without fuss.
The men saw she was a delicate, fragile-looking girl, the type who should be screaming the moment she saw bad guys, yet she didn't cry or throw a fit, just calmly got out of the car. One by one, they were all surprised.
"Wait." The man with the eyepatch glanced at her hand. "Sorry, you can't bring your phone."
Gu Anjin rolled her eyes and tossed her phone back into the car.
Before throwing it, she had already silently pressed the emergency SOS button.
