"Tell me, Ancestor, do you have a relationship with the Paragon?" Empress Korvaxa asked, seated across from Uncle Monk.
She had arrived tense, anxious, and angry. However, with just a cup of herbal tea, she had calmed down considerably.
"Why do you ask?" Uncle Monk asked, taking a sip of his herbal tea.
"For starters, the Elven Empire and the Paragon don't have a great relationship. After all, we were part of the race that attacked the Asura Race during the Blood Era, so I want to know whether it would be possible for you to speak with him and see if we can apologize and then come to some agreement that would benefit both parties."
Uncle Monk gave Empress Korvaxa a long, hard look, then he laughed.
"I sometimes forget how innocent you are, Korvaxa. I remember when I found you on that battlefield, you still had hope that those demons would surrender. At heart, you are a good person, and that is what has driven you to keep going for years.
