Klaus had no reason to turn back now.
Long before they arrived at the trunk house, he had already sensed a powerful gaze locked on him. He knew the god beast had already become aware of him, so he could only go meet her.
Naturally, he had no reason to count on Crux since she had already told him she could not guarantee his safety.
As they descended, he sensed two other powerful gazes turn toward him. While the intensity wasn't as chilling as the god beast's, he had reason to believe they were demigods.
"While there are many demigods out there, under my lady, there are just three of us. The other two gazes you felt are from them."
Klaus nodded. "I suppose with a god at the helm, there should be able subordinates doing her bidding. Though I have to ask, do you fight with the other three factions?"
"No. We have no reason to fight with them. My lady is the strongest god in here, so there is no need to dirty herself with those losers."
