"Vivian, did you hear what I said?"
"Sir, your girlfriend is so beautiful..."
The pretty saleswoman in the middle of her pitch wilted under Ning Fan's cold gaze and slunk away.
Ning Fan came to understand that to gauge whether Vivian was being obedient, he simply needed to toss her a string of jewelry and then try to ask for it back.
If Vivian handed it over readily, then Ning Fan wouldn't have to worry at all.
If she didn't, then it would be a problem.
Seeing Vivian's hesitant expression, Ning Fan finally felt a bit relieved. At least she seemed to have some apprehension and wasn't as unruly and reckless as before.
"Teaching her slowly is fine. Her nature is good; not completely incorrigible."
Thinking of this, Ning Fan said gently, "Do you remember what we talked about? If you act like this, aren't you going against our agreement? How can I trust you in the future?"
After a while, Vivian spoke up, "Then you must promise to keep buying for me in the future."
