Mei Zhilan nodded as she wiped away her tears, still hiding her face from the avatar.
"Come, take a seat. It is not good to keep standing. I still want to ask you something," the avatar said as he stood up and touched Mei Zhilan's shoulder.
Mei Zhilan was astonished that the Great Emperor had touched her and was even guiding her to the seat across from him. Her sadness quickly turned into embarrassment. She wanted to speak, but no words came out.
Although the man beside her was only the Great Emperor's avatar, he was still a part of the Great Emperor. Even she could not feel any difference between the avatar beside her and the real body of a human.
