"Are you thinking about something impure?" Ling Tian asked with a slight frown, hearing Lv Baicha's cry.
"No, no, absolutely not," Lv Baicha said, shaking his head.
Ling Tian huffed angrily as he sized up Lv Baicha. He was a modest gentleman, cultured and polite. How could such a person harbor such unclean thoughts?
"I know what you're thinking," Ling Tian huffed. "As a man, how can you entertain such thoughts? Don't you find it repulsive?"
"Yes, yes, I do," Lv Baicha nodded. "I was wrong."
The garrison soldiers chimed in, defending Ling Tian. "Right, you should learn from our General. Our General has a clear conscience. If your state of mind were half as clear as his, you should be satisfied."
Lv Baicha nodded incessantly. "Yes, yes, yes."
Ling Tian's face was a canvas of embarrassment and shame.
The reason he could guess what Lv Baicha was thinking was that he himself had entertained impure thoughts when Wu Tian mentioned they were fated to be together.
