The Array Masters behind Feng Li urged him to renege on his defeat. After all, Feng Li was from the Feng Family; who would dare to do anything to him? Since they had lost fair and square in the open, they would resort to underhanded tactics. These Array Masters were determined to take this resplendent branch guild for themselves.
"Shut up," Feng Li barked, silencing the Array Masters behind him. They didn't understand why he was suddenly so angry.
"My Feng Family does not fear losing; we only fear refusing to admit defeat," he declared.
Feng Li took a deep breath. He had come here at the behest of a woman. Even though he had lost, he would not deny it. He was a member of the Feng Family, and he had not forgotten the lessons he had been taught since childhood. Losing wasn't terrible; what was terrible was refusing to admit it.
He looked at the little girl, then back at Wu Tian, and conceded weakly, "I've lost, and I admit it."
The little girl nodded.
