What?
Wu Tian's words caused Lais's expression to change drastically. He hadn't expected that Wu Tian would insist on his death, no matter the cost. A war between their two nations, one that could ignite a third world war, and he simply didn't care?
How can this be? He must realize that if my death indirectly causes a world war, he'll be a villain condemned throughout history. Isn't he afraid at all?
At this moment, Lais was scared out of his wits. He felt that Wu Tian wasn't a normal person; his way of thinking was completely alien.
"Warships, turn back!" Lais commanded.
He couldn't see Wu Tian anywhere; the voice simply originated from within his own mind. Certain psykers could accomplish such a feat, but to kill someone without even being seen… that was utterly terrifying.
The warships began to turn back. Lais let out a sigh of relief. But then, Wu Tian's voice rang out in his mind again, "I am omnipresent. You want to leave? Where could you possibly go?"
