Just as everyone was at a loss,
the Chairman suddenly, fearfully pointed to a monster crawling out of the sewage in a nearby corner and said:
"The reason I pretended to be dead was because I didn't want to lure that monster out of the sewage..."
It turned out when the Shadow Assassin kidnapped the Chairman and brought him to this dark corner, he had his pet, the sewer river demon, watch me here...
If I opened my eyes or moved,
this river demon from the sewer would crawl out of the sewage, rush over, and bite me to death.
When Zhao Rong and his team of five heard the Chairman's explanation,
they immediately understood why the Chairman had pretended to be dead.
If the Chairman hadn't pretended to be dead, that river demon in the sewer would have rushed over immediately.
The reason the Chairman pretended to be dead was also to buy precious time for Zhao Rong, Miss Lili, Beauty Yu Lan, Beauty Xuelian, and his assistant.
