When Lili saw the man holding the spear, she immediately hid nervously behind Zhao Rong. Pointing at the primitive-looking human, she said, "Zhao Rong, look at that tribesman over there with the spear. Do you think he's part of some prehistoric human civilization?"
"Maybe, it's possible," Zhao Rong said uncertainly. "But while human civilization might be cyclical, it still requires a process of evolution."
Yu Lan asked, "Zhao Rong, does that mean the people in this prehistoric civilization we've traveled to haven't evolved into modern humans yet? That they're still in a very primitive stage?"
Zhao Rong nodded, cautiously watching the hostile man with the spear approach them. "Not necessarily," he said to Yu Lan. "Let's take our own world as an example. Even though humanity has entered the industrial and digital ages, there are still uncontacted and undeveloped tribes living in parts of Africa, the Amazon rainforest, and on remote islands in the Pacific Ocean."
