Chapter 815 – 500 Career Goals
Manchester United's first league match of October was a home game against Tottenham Hotspur, the fourth round of the Premier League and the penultimate match of the round.
Earlier that day, Manchester City suffered another upset, drawing 1–1 away to newly promoted Leeds United. After three league matches this season, City had just 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 loss, with 4 points, sitting 15th.
