"Impossible… a wall…"
At that moment, Vyomasur was trembling from deep inside as he stared at Om. A strange fear had wrapped around him completely. It felt as if some gigantic form of Om was standing before him… a being that could crush him into dust in the blink of an eye.
Shaking in fear, Vyomasur thought to himself,
"There's a powerful wall between us… something separating us from each other. I can feel it… the gap in our powers is far too huge now. But how… how is this even possible? How did this boy become this powerful in such a short time? Has he… has he truly awakened his powers?"
Meanwhile, Om had his eyes closed, as if he was seeing something far beyond the world around him.
Inside his mind, he could see the entire world.
Every corner… every shadow… every hidden place.
He was searching for someone.
Then suddenly, after a few moments, Om slowly opened his eyes and looked toward the crack in the ground ahead of him.
A serious look crossed his face.
"There you are."
The moment Om's attention shifted away, Vyomasur realized this might be his only chance. If he could defeat Om right now… maybe, just maybe, this entire game could still be turned around.
Without wasting another second, he aimed his spear toward Om's back. Gathering every ounce of strength left in his body, he hurled it forward with killing intent.
The spear shot through the air at terrifying speed—
—but the very next second, the moment Om merely looked at it…
…the spear disappeared.
Gone.
As if it had never existed.
Vyomasur froze.
His soul shook.
At that moment, he realized he had just made the biggest mistake of his life.
Fear completely consumed him.
"H-how… how is he doing this? This child… he's this powerful? No… this energy… it's beyond even the gods… So this is the child from the prophecy…? Then how… how was I ever supposed to defeat him…?"
But before another thought could form in his mind, Om's voice echoed through his head like thunder.
"You… I'm saving you for the end. Don't try anything clever. Stay exactly where you are… while I deal with that animal first."
His eyes turned cold.
"And don't move."
On the other side, Balasur had escaped through the giant crack in the earth and hidden himself inside a nearby cave. He crouched behind a cluster of trees, trembling in fear.
Even after running away, the terror Om had planted inside him refused to leave.
His eyes nervously scanned the surroundings again and again.
"No… no… I shouldn't have wasted my time talking to Vyomasur. I made a huge mistake. I'll stay hidden here until the gates of Pataal Lok open…"
But suddenly—
His entire body stiffened.
Every hair on his body stood up.
A terrifying energy spread through the air.
Balasur's eyes widened as he frantically looked around.
"This energy… no… no… don't tell me… him?"
He could feel it.
The fear in the wind.
A monstrous presence slowly getting closer.
His heartbeat became louder and louder.
"I can feel death approaching… There's a power in the air that I cannot defeat. It feels like some furious destroyer has taken form itself… My instincts are screaming at me. My master once told me… if you ever feel an energy like this… there's only one thing you can do…"
The very next second, Balasur immediately dropped to his knees in terror.
He placed both hands on the ground and bowed his head completely.
"Only one thing… bow down before it. Salute it. Beg for your life… Maybe that's my only option now. My heart is screaming it at me…"
Keeping his forehead pressed against the earth, Balasur hurriedly spoke,
"O mighty god… or whoever you are… please show mercy and accept my respect from the bottom of my heart. Forgive me for my sins… give me one chance to fix my mistakes. Let me stand beside you… let me serve you… Please, great one… have mercy on me… please…"
But when Balasur slowly raised his eyes—
His face froze in shock.
Om was standing right in front of him.
One hand casually inside his pocket.
A deadly calm on his face.
And those dangerous eyes… staring straight into his soul.
Balasur's body trembled harder as he quickly continued,
"Great human, listen to me! Very soon, Rakshas King Takshak and Mahishasur will attack Earth with their armies. I know everything I've done until now was wrong… but give me one chance! When they arrive, my power and my army will fight beside you. Even if we have to die, we'll fight for you!"
Om simply replied,
"Not a bad offer."
Hearing that, Balasur felt joy rising inside him.
"Ha… stupid human. I just need time. Once the demon armies arrive, I'll rip you apart with my own hands…"
Pretending to be loyal, Balasur slammed his head against the ground and said,
"Thank you, great human… from today onward, my army and my loyalty belong to—"
"But before that…"
Om cut him off mid-sentence.
Slowly pulling his hand out of his pocket, Om pointed toward the wounds on his back.
"The injuries you gave me from behind… they hurt. And those claws of yours damaged my body pretty badly too."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"So if you can survive five attacks from me… I'll forgive you."
The moment Om finished speaking, Balasur finally understood the truth.
The fool was never Om.
The fool… was him.
Om had played him from the very beginning.
Rage exploded inside Balasur instantly.
"You dare trick Balasur, you worthless human?!"
Roaring furiously, he threw a powerful punch straight at Om.
"Even if I die today… I'll drag you down with me!"
His fist shot toward Om's face with full force—
—but Om casually caught it midway.
Without the slightest effort, Om drove a brutal kick straight into Balasur's stomach.
BOOM!
The impact sent Balasur flying across the cave before crashing violently into the stone wall.
Dust exploded everywhere.
And while Balasur struggled to even breathe…
Om smiled faintly and said,
"Now only four left."
