Chapter 116 - The Lion Has Arrived

Om stood at the entrance… frozen.

His eyes scanned the house—

Or what was left of it.

Broken wood. Blood stains. Fear hanging in the air like smoke.

Just a few hours.

That's all he had been gone.

And his home…

Looked like ruins.

Before he could even process it, Riya and Soumya came running toward him and threw themselves into his arms. The moment they hugged him—

They broke down.

Crying uncontrollably.

Om was startled, his heart tightening as he held them close. He glanced around—at his uncles, at Sharda, and then finally toward the stairs—

Where Savita stood.

Frozen.

Staring at him.

With her child beside her.

"Hey… hey… I'm here now, okay? Don't worry. Your brother won't let anything happen to you."

Om said softly, wiping Riya and Soumya's tears, forcing a reassuring smile.

And somehow—

That was enough.

They believed him.

Because they trusted him.

And slowly… their sobs began to calm.

Nearby, Isha watched the scene, her own eyes filled with tears. She didn't even know why she felt so emotional—but something about Om… the way he stood, the way he protected…

It stirred something deep inside her.

She glanced at her brother Harsh, who sat beside their mother, crying in fear.

Anger flickered in her.

But then her eyes returned to Om—

And that anger softened into something else.

Something warmer.

Across the room—

Bali and Singhania struggled to get back on their feet after being thrown like ragdolls.

Pain twisted across their faces.

They didn't understand what had just happened.

But something had changed.

The moment Om stepped in—

The balance had shifted.

Meanwhile, Maya…

Her condition was getting worse.

Blood continued to pour from her wounds.

Her breathing grew weaker.

Om's eyes fell on her—

And in that instant, everything else faded.

He gently pulled himself away from Riya and Soumya and walked toward her.

Step by step.

And with every step—

His gaze sharpened.

He noticed everything.

The bullet wound in her chest.

The one in her leg.

The knife injury.

The bruises.

The blood.

So much blood.

And with every detail—

The anger inside him grew.

Burning.

Silent.

Deadly.

He knelt beside her, placing his hand gently over the bullet wound on her chest. His fingers touched the blood… warm… fresh…

He looked at it.

And for a moment—

His eyes darkened.

Maya, barely conscious, looked at him through half-open eyes.

And smiled.

Even now.

"Boss… I… I didn't let anything happen… to your family…"

Her voice was weak.

Broken.

But proud.

Om's expression softened slightly.

A flicker of emotion passed through him.

"But you got yourself into this mess, didn't you? Couldn't you send the message earlier?" he said quietly, almost scolding… almost caring.

Then, softer—

"It's okay. Rest now. I'll handle everything from here."

He reached into his coat and pulled out a small medicine box.

Then looked toward Soumya and gestured for her to come closer.

She stepped forward hesitantly.

Om placed the box in her hands.

"The powder inside—apply it carefully on all her wounds. Don't panic. She'll be fine."

There was something in his voice.

Something steady.

Unshakable.

And somehow… it gave strength.

Behind him—

Bali and Singhania had regained their footing.

And Bali, still furious, spat out,

"What is this, some kind of movie? One after another, people keep showing up out of nowhere to save someone! And now who the hell is this new hero trying to act smart?"

But Om—

Didn't even look at him.

Didn't react.

Didn't care.

He had already turned away.

Walking toward his family.

And that…

That silence—

It unsettled them more than any reply could.

Singhania leaned toward Bali, whispering urgently,

"Boss… this is him. The same guy. The one who shut down all our operations in this city. The one who almost killed my son and my best men. This is the one who's been ruining everything for us."

His voice hardened.

"We should finish him today. Right here."

But before Bali could respond—

A voice cut through the air.

Cold.

Controlled.

Burning.

"Keep your voices to yourselves… enjoy your last few moments of peace. I'll be there… in just a second."

Om.

He hadn't even turned around.

But his words—

They hit like a warning from a predator.

The entire room went still.

A chill ran down everyone's spine.

Even Bali.

Even Singhania.

For the first time—

They felt it.

That this man…

Was not normal.

There was something in his presence.

Something heavy.

Something dangerous.

Om slowly turned.

And when his eyes met theirs—

It felt like staring into fire.

Not anger.

Not just anger.

Something deeper.

Something that could destroy.

Savita felt her body tremble.

Uncontrollably.

Because now she understood—

This wasn't just a man standing in front of them.

This was a lion.

Alone.

But enough to silence an entire jungle.

And in that moment—

Everyone knew one thing for certain—

The most dangerous person in that house… was Om.

But outside…

Beyond the walls of that house—

Another danger had already arrived.

A mysterious figure, dressed entirely in black, slipped silently through the gate.

Unnoticed.

Unseen.

Moments later—

On the outer walls of the house—

Small devices appeared.

Attached.

Armed.

Time bombs.

The man stepped back…

Watching them.

And a strange, chilling smile spread across his face.

Because whatever was about to happen inside—

Was only the beginning.
