Chapter 110 - When The Eyes Met

Om stood outside the Mayor's house…

Dressed sharply in a black suit.

Perfect. Elegant.

And completely… nervous.

He had already pressed the doorbell.

But no one had opened the door yet.

He adjusted his sleeves again…

Then his collar…

Then his watch…

Again.

"Why is no one opening the door…?" he muttered under his breath.

But the truth was—

His guess wasn't wrong.

There was no one home.

Anshika's entire family had gone to attend a relative's function.

And at the last moment—

Anshika had made an excuse about not feeling well…

Just to stay back.

Just for this night.

Just for him.

Outside—

Om took a deep breath.

His heartbeat refused to slow down.

This was his first date.

His first.

And the problem?

He had absolutely no idea what people did on dates.

What do you talk about?

How do you behave?

How do you treat the girl?

What if he messes it up?

Even someone who could control his senses…

Was losing control today.

Inside the house—

Anshika was rushing for one final touch-up.

While Seema ran toward the door to open it.

And just like that—

Two different stories…

Started moving at the same time.

Meanwhile… Somewhere Else

Three to four luxury cars sped through the road.

Fast. Aggressive.

Like something was about to happen.

In the middle car—

Sat Singhania… and Bali.

The driver focused ahead.

A man armed with weapons sat beside him.

And behind—

Bali and Singhania.

Bali sat calmly, looking out the window.

Relaxed. Almost bored.

But Singhania—

Was not.

His face carried tension.

Fear.

Nervousness.

He kept glancing at Bali…

Then back at the road.

Again. And again.

And then—

His mind drifted back to earlier that evening…

Inside his office.

"Bali brother… please forgive me…" Singhania had said, trying to stay calm.

"I know business hasn't been great lately… but I promise, I'm doing everything I can to bring it back to the top."

"I'll prove it to you soon."

But Bali…

Wasn't even listening.

Something else was running in his mind.

He suddenly cut Singhania off.

"Yeah yeah, I got it… whatever."

Then he turned slightly.

"You mentioned some guy recently, right?"

"A new boy… messing with your business."

"Tell me about him."

For a second—

Singhania froze.

Then slowly…

A smile appeared.

Opportunity.

"Yes, brother…" he said quickly.

"For the past few months, one young guy has joined my enemies…"

"He's barely 20–22… no background… no big family…"

"Came out of nowhere…"

"And started interfering in all my work."

"At first I thought it was coincidence…"

"Then I thought it was just youthful arrogance…"

"But slowly…"

His voice lowered.

"I realized… he's not ordinary."

"Not at all."

But before he could continue—

Bali snapped.

"Hey, hey… enough!"

"Get to the point!"

"I'm not here to hear your life story."

"Tell me—who is he?"

"Is he powerful or not?"

"What's his name?"

"What does he do?"

Bali leaned forward slightly.

Eyes sharp.

"Speak fast."

Back at the House…

The door opened.

Seema stood there—

And froze.

Om… stood in front of her.

In that black suit.

For a moment—

Her mind went blank.

She just… stared.

Unable to look away.

It was like…

Everything else had disappeared.

And only Om remained.

"Hey… Seema?"

Om waved his hand slightly.

"I said hi… but you didn't respond."

"Are you okay?"

That snapped her back.

"Oh—hey! Om!" she said quickly, forcing a smile.

"Sorry… I was just lost in thought."

"You know… dad's business and all…"

She brushed it off casually.

Then stepped aside.

"Why are you standing outside? Come in."

Om smiled and walked in.

"Don't take too much stress…" he said lightly.

"And if you need help, just tell me. That's what friends are for."

Seema nodded.

But her eyes…

Still lingered on him.

And then—

Footsteps.

Soft.

Graceful.

Coming down the stairs.

Om turned.

And time…

Stopped.

Anshika walked down slowly.

Each step…

Like a heartbeat.

And the moment their eyes met—

Everything else disappeared.

No sound.

No movement.

Just…

Them.

Om couldn't look away.

Anshika couldn't either.

It was as if—

For the first time—

They were truly seeing each other.

Not as friends.

Not as rivals.

But… something more.

Meanwhile… The Storm Rises

Inside the speeding car—

Singhania swallowed hard.

Then finally spoke.

"Brother… that boy…"

"He's a doctor…"

A pause.

"And his name is…"

The moment hung in the air.

Two worlds—

About to collide.
