Shangguan Zu Jin's POV
I was reading some memorials when I noticed the presence of people inside the Taiji hall. After the court meeting this morning, I decided to read the memorials here so that my wife won't come over and help me. I want her to rest more because she's carrying our baby.
Chief Eunuch Lin enters the hall. "Greetings, Your Majesty. I'm here to tell you that Madam Shi, Right Chancellor Shi's wife, pays a visit in Her Majesty's chamber," he reported. I frowned. "Did you say, Madam Shi?" I repeated. He bows his head and nods.
"Let's go back. I have to know why she suddenly visited the empress. I hope Jin'er was safe," I mumbled.
We rush our way back, and they even prepare a carriage that I used. I rush my way inside and open the door of the study. The only person inside was my wife. She smiled and stood up.
"What rushes you here, A'Zu?" she asks.
I look around. "You know the reason, Wangfei," I utter.
