Chu Xinian once again spoke words that stir one's imagination...
Qin Yiren was speechless, assuming he understood they were not in a dating situation, decided to play dumb and didn't respond.
And it seemed Chu Xinian didn't need her response.
As the elevator doors slowly opened, he naturally took her large stack of bags, "Even so, if there's another chance, I'd still like to sit with you in a café."
Qin Yiren's lips twitched in annoyance, resisting the urge to look up at him, pretending she heard nothing.
Indeed.
The elevator space was small, even though Qin Er lowered his voice, Chu Xinian could still hear their conversation.
Luckily, this awkwardness was short-lived as the elevator descended steadily, stopping on the first floor.
Qin Yiren hurriedly slipped out of the elevator, never looking back as she headed to the parking lot, all the way feeling the man's amused gaze.
"Yi Ren!"
