Everything that could possibly have gone bad had gone bad and turned into a nightmare for him and all of it because of this damn broken key in his hand. Noah has been staring at the key for a while as nothing is making any sense for everything that is going around him, these people, this world and the monster outside or even the side feels like a worst nightmare to him. Noah turns his head around to look at dead people on the corridor, the face and smell of these corpses can't be dreamt, as more stares at the face of the dead people his stomach start turning around as noxious feelings start building up inside and within moments Noah pukes out.
"Damn it, even… my shoes got dirty and my throat burned." Noah looked at puked out vomit on his shoes, he raised his head up to look at the ceiling with his blank eyes as the lost shine of life as he felt despair and no hope for survival.
"I hope that fucker dies in this place, it was already bad here to begin with now that fuckers wants to play dickhead asshole leader. I'm feeling this morbid sense of fear as if something really bad is about to happen, I hope none of them dies except for these gangster assholes." Noah looked at the vomit dropped on his shoes.
Noah stood up and walked back where they first came from looking at blood and flesh webs blocking the corridor and the poor soul that was left with only his skeleton and last part of his flesh clinging to him. Noah turned around and started walking again towards the deeper part of the corridor but after walking a few meters he saw the same damn flesh and blood webs blocking everything leaving behind the few close doors to explore.
Noah stood near the closest door to him and held the doorknob but just as he did the sense of fear and dread spread inside him. He quickly retracts his hand back and took two steps back in horror as stares at the door. 'What kind of monstrosity is hiding behind this door that this level of fear I didn't even feel from the bubble eye monster.'
The second door is bigger than the other doors, Noah looked up the see what kind of room required such a huge door only to sign the cafeteria above. Just as he stares at the door his stomach starts to make a loud rumbling sound inside.
'Can't even survive for more than a few minutes here and this darn thing wants to eat shit.' Noah put his hand on his stomach, "It still hurts."
'Should I open the door as at night the cafeteria mostly remains empty, maybe there might be one or two dead people. Nothing worse could happen here, right?' Noah stood at the cafeteria door contemplating what he should do next. Noah slowly extended his hand towards the cafeteria door, just as he touched the cafeteria door he was ready to pull back his hand but nothing out of the ordinary happened. He didn't feel fear like before or any warning sign of danger ahead from his gut feelings.
'Should I open this or wait for the others to come back from the underground parking lot? But I can't just stay here forever without doing anything at all. The least thing I can do is check out this place maybe there's plenty of canned food inside the cafeteria we can survive on for a few days.' Noah's mind started to clouded with his cowardliness and overthinking, which didn't let him do one thing right.
Slowly Noah pushed the Cafeteria door and the gap made from the slightly opened door Noah leaned forward and took a peek inside the cafeteria but to his surprise the cafeteria was completely dark even he couldn't see anything at all. Not even the floor as if the entire cafeteria was consumed by the darkness, Noah quickly closed the door.
Noah lay down on the floor as he put his hands over his face, 'What was that? another nightmare creature or some kind of anomaly that is affecting this nightmare realm. Why does it have to be me who has to go through shit like this, it could be any Tom and Dick who would want to live life heroic adventures like this but I never want to live like this. I want to go home, eat food made by my mom, play console games with my brother, help out my father with our cake shop and write a novel peacefully as I look over the greenery around our house.'
As the overwhelming negative emotions and despair start to take over his will, Noah feels more and more helpless and hopeless as this darkness is going to consume him. Noah lay down on the floor on his side (sleeping on side), all alone in the darkness of nightmare realm, as he thinks over everything that happened. He couldn't control it anymore, his eyes turned watery as tears started to drop from his eyes. "I want to go home…"
Ting!!!
As he lay there the key necklace on his neck slides down to the floor, as the key falls to the floor soft ting sound it made to attract Noah's attention. Noah moved his hand and held the broken key tightly in his hand, it felt cold… cold as ice in his palm. He remembers when he felt such coldness in the past, when he got lost in snowy mountains and couldn't find his way back to his parents and brother. He knew mother would be worried sick, father desperately trying to find help and his brother restlessly searching for him but as more he try to chase moonlight foot print on snowy white earth, deeper he got lost inside the woods as all tree became the one tree with many faces but all had same hard and cold surface as they block his tiny feet mark in snowy weather.
Snowflakes drop from the skies of floating wind as it moves through the air and drowns deeper inside the ocean of cold breeze to the desperately running alone child with fear and tears in his eyes longing for his lost world. Snowflakes move smoothly as if they were destined to meet someone even if it takes time but fate will let them meet each other. The child's feet were tired from running in the snow, still he kept on running without stopping his tiny feet sunk into the snow slip through the snow. A child falls on his face covered in snow like a snow man on Christmas.
He moves his hand to his face to clean his face as the child gazes ahead at the dead he arrived at the edge of the cliff. In the helpless eyes of the child a single snowflake appears, as it floats up to the soft small red nose of the child. As a warm steam of puff escapes from his soft pink lips and slowly melts away the snow. How much has passed he doesn't have an idea but he wants to sleep, his eyes turned heavy unable to lift itself up.
Opening his eyes, he saw the stone cold floor and stench of death getting unbearable to him, but there's no way out but this key seems to return to him even if he throws multiple times though he only throws this key one time but it did return to him. If it does return to him then he found the way out of this place but it is risky as hell because he still can't prove this theory as he threw away this key one time and hidden danger lurking inside all of these rooms more dangerous than the other. Even if it looks empty and safe he still can't overlook the sense of danger he's getting from his instinct, but now the question still remains which door to choose?
Noah gets up on his feet and starts to climb the stairs, looking at the below the stairs for the last time. He stood inside the corridor looking at both sides of the door to decide which one to choose, he thought of something and pulled out one coin from his pants pocket.
"If it's heads, I'll choose the left side of the corridor doors or if it's tails then it's going to be from the right side one. Oh, dear fate please help me out this time." Noah holds the coin in his hand and gently kisses it as it's going to decide his fate or everyone's fate. Noah flipped the coin in air as it flew up quickly and starts to descend upon the floor. Noah raised his hand to catch the coin, but it slipped out fingers in between a small gap.
Ting!!!
Coin sharp sound echoed inside the corridor as it hit the floor tiles and the coin started rolling down by itself as it started to roll down towards the left side and hit the Cafeteria door and finally stopped. Noah looked at the door with an anxious heart as he already saw what behind this door is, though it's just darkness not like the other door where he felt fear for his life but he can't overlook the fact that there might be danger that even his instinct can't keep up with.
