Victoria couldn't convince Ye Xunhuan, and as night fell, Ye Xunhuan began preparing to sneak back into the Vatican.
Although Ye Xunhuan was no stranger to the Vatican's layout, he still needed to make some preparations to prevent any issues from arising.
After all, being cautious never comes with errors.
At midnight, Ye Xunhuan began his move.
He moved like a ghost in the night, disappearing into the Vatican with an elusive speed that was hard to capture.
Because Louis III had just been buried, the security in the Vatican was extremely tight. Teams patrolled, and many guards were stationed at key entrances to prevent any incidents.
Since Ye Xunhuan was already familiar with the Vatican's layout, he could cleverly avoid the patrolling guards.
However, the personnel guarding each post were making Ye Xunhuan feel a bit troubled.
Damn, is it really necessary to be this strict? It's like ancient Huaxia palaces where the security was so tight even a fly couldn't get in.
