"So, does that mean you're the second-best student in your class?" Li Jiachen asked.
"Hehehe," Chen Xue chuckled awkwardly.
"Impressive, but if you're doing so well academically, why would Teacher Feng scold you? When Teacher Feng gets angry, it's quite scary." Li Jiachen said.
"But I'm only in my second year, and it's just the first semester end exam. I haven't even finished all my theory classes yet, and I can only do a little bit of pulse diagnosis. Teacher Feng just asked me to start diagnosing patients. How am I supposed to do that?" Chen Xue replied.
"Well, you have a point; maybe Teacher Feng thought you were a graduate intern." Li Jiachen said.
"I don't know either..." Chen Xue said.
"You should follow Teacher Feng closely. Medical students nowadays aren't like before. It's really tough to find jobs; undergraduate students hardly find work—they have to go for a master's." Li Jiachen remarked.
Talking about finding a job made Chen Xue feel pressured too.
