"Not so innocent anymore; university and society are pretty much the same now," Chen Shuying replied.
"That's true, that's true. But, you young people at least have youth on your side—good skin, good complexion, good figure, full of vital energy and spirit," Brother Li complimented Chen Shuying.
"What's so youthful about it? Didn't they say women start to depreciate after turning eighteen?" Chen Shuying listened to Brother Li's compliments, amused, and couldn't help but smile as she spoke to him.
"Actually, there's some truth to that. Men are visual creatures; they only have one demand for women, and that's to look good," Brother Li said.
"Exactly. I'm only twenty-four, and when I see the new freshman girls with their dewy skin, I already feel old."
"Yeah, women look better young. But men need a bit more age; older men understand how to be considerate. Young guys are too reckless, immature, and can't provide women with a sense of security," Brother Li said.
