Heather hurriedly pulled up the blanket to cover her head.
George blushed too and quickly dashed into the bathroom.
Heather heard the sound of his bare feet on the floor and then him running into the bathroom and closing the door, followed by his voice on the phone with Xueli.
"Mommy, Heather got too drunk last night and just woke up. I'm planning to take her for some breakfast and then bring her home."
"Okay, okay, don't worry, she's very well-behaved."
"No, her classmates have all gone home, mm-hmm, alright."
George spoke very patiently and politely with Xueli.
Heather lay in bed listening, her face turning red with embarrassment.
