'Now!'
Taking advantage of Poliwrath's unprepared state I barrel into the giant frog with multiple simple Scratches along the top of his face. Poliwrath only throws a sloppy Dynamic Punch that I'm easily able to phase through, allowing me to slip my fangs into Poliwrath's arm with relative ease using another Poison Fang.
"Eusine! Give me an antidote already you useless piece of trash! And Dustox destroy that Misdreavus!" Deston is still slowly crawling on the floor towards Eusine and the tied up Kimono Girl only looking at their left to give Dustox a command.
"Misdreavus! I need that Dustox gone!"
"Roger, roger!"
Misdreavus fades out of sight and reappears in front of the barely flying Dustox. She then gains a faint purple glow in her eyes and uses Confusion, slamming the Dustox into the floor and flinging the bug above Deston's head and to the side of Eusine.
"Damnit Eusine! Do something you crazy fucker!" Deston starts to reach into his outfit once again, only this time Misdreavus cleanly stops his movements with another Confusion.
Meanwhile Eusine doesn't move. Throughout the final acts of this battle Eusine has only moved once, to bring out a small journal jotting down the depictions and murals still present on the walls of the tower.
At that Deston only gets visibly agitated, veins popping through his temples and his palms gaining a heated sweat. "Eusine!!!"
"Gods would you be quiet?" Eusine just turns back to Deston. This time with a unfamilar calmness to his movements, none of them fitting the previously eccentric and excited tone he'd normally use. Only a calm leveled voice remains as he continues to write.
"I was hoping you'd actually be useful since you listen to your superiors well, but I guess not." Eusine only looks up from his journal once before showing his hand, flicking his wrist and making a Poke ball appear out of thin air in a warp of space that I can barely recognize.
'Oh shit. Is Eusine some sort of hidden boss!?'
"Well I guess I've gotten what I needed out of here, though I would've much preferred if you weren't so crude while I was pretending to be your subordinate."
At that Eusine just turns slightly and looks at the Kimono Girl before letting go of the Poke ball he was holding, releasing the Pokemon inside.

'So that sucked ass.' Laying down on the provided pillow that change with my hospital room I look over to the unharmed Misdreavus floating only a foot away from me.
'I can't believe Eusine of all people had a Alakazam, and it wasn't a pushover. It had nothing on the Gothitelle or Reuniclus that Caitlin would have around casually but I could tell that it was probably as strong as Doku or Jarl. Or in other words a Pokémon capable of defeating 6 gyms. Which I'm regrettably weaker than at this current moment.'
'Not only that but I basically just let the entirety of team rocket know that I exist, a Pokémon that can change it's shape and form. The worst part is they might think I'm some descendent of Mew, after all from a untrained eye i did something pretty similar to transforming only i didn't need to be in the presence of the Pokémon i change into.'
As i wallow in my blunder against Eusine I throw a quick glance at Misdreavus who is actually oddly silent and just staring at me with beady eyes. "So...Are you just gonna float there and watch me?"
"Well...You still haven't told me how to scare people at the highest level so...Plus I think you need some company! Getting beat like that is no good for your health you know!"
"Thanks for stating the obvious.." Rolling my eyes and stretching out my hind legs I nip at the bandages around my ribs before releasing some of my tangible shadows, lopping them around the ceiling camera in our hospital room. I then bring out my shadow book and flip to a new section, the "Rocket" section.
'God I'm going to have to spend an entire afternoon updating this thing, Eusine being a rocket member is the first thing alongside their weird uniforms silver uniforms and potentially new ranks. Another thing is their presence in Johto, they never came to the Burned Tower in the games and I'm 90% sure they didn't go there in the manga either. Only other thing that could influence it is the anime but that mainly revolved around ash and he clearly isn't here. I knew i was dealing with some changes ever since I saw Caitlin being older than i remember but this is crazy.'
Flipping to the next page I start updating and adding profiles for trainers. 'Eusine is a trainer of at the least respectable strength, Deston was strong but other than his Poliwrath his Pokemon were 2 steps down from Eusine's Alakazam. I wish i could figure out how the level system works so i can put a number to everything! I just have to use relative scaling to figure out rough strength.'
flipping my book once again I move towards the quote on quote "back" of my shadow book and start a new section called Scaling. 'Firstly Cynthia's Garchomp is the strongest thing I've ever seen, alongside her Lucario only a few levels behind. Then the next strongest pokemon I've faced is probably.. Caitlin's Gothitelle? Then Darach's Staraptor, then it's his Houndoom? The line in power is probably something like this, Garchomp>Lucario>Gothitelle>=Staraptor>>Houndoom>>Jarl/Doku/Alakazam>Poliwrath>=Me.'
Sighing I put away my book and uncover the shadows blocking the camera's from view. 'Well nothing i can do about anything now, I just have to wait it out and see when Amelia will get here..'
"Wait..." Popping up and jumping off my bed and run towards the door. "I forgot about Larvitar!"
