Sacred energy flowed across Yanael's blade like running water, dispersing the mountainous force behind the Swordsman's weapon. Yanael's feet slid across the surface as she allowed the blow to push her back.
She pushed away and spun around to stabilize herself and brace for the next attack. But instead of attacking again, the Swordsman glanced toward the shore.
"I shan't draw blood. Do not force yourself." He flicked his wrist and splashed some water to cool Zach's head before he did something drastic. Then, he disappeared from the spot and reappeared beside Yanael again, his blade nothing but a flicker of light in the air.
Yanael's sword, on the other hand, drew clear strokes of radiant light as she swept it back and forth, from side to side, to intercept and desperately block the Swordsman's strikes.
Sparks flew, and waves cascaded away from them. The only spot on the lake undisturbed by the battle was the circle directly beneath the two.
