The day finally arrived. Geon-oh, now a transformed individual, stood before Jae-hoon and his gang. He was no longer the timid, awkward boy they'd once bullied. He was a warrior, a force to be reckoned with.
Jae-hoon, sensing Geon-oh's newfound confidence, scoffed. "You think you can take us on now, little boy?" he sneered. "You're still just a weakling."
Geon-oh didn't bother responding. He moved with a speed and precision that surprised even Jae-hoon. He disarmed Jae-hoon's cronies with ease, their attacks falling flat against his newfound agility. He landed a swift kick to Jae-hoon's stomach, sending him crashing to the ground.
The other students watched in stunned silence. They couldn't believe their eyes. The timid new kid had just defeated the school's most feared bully.
Sooyun, who had witnessed the entire confrontation, felt a surge of admiration for Geon-oh. She'd always been drawn to the "strong and silent" type, and Geon-oh, with his newfound confidence and strength, fit the bill perfectly. But she also saw a vulnerability in his eyes, a hint of sadness that lingered beneath his newfound bravado.
Geon-oh, however, was far from satisfied. He knew that Jae-hoon was merely the weakest link in a chain of bullies, each more formidable than the last. He had a long way to go before he could truly claim victory.
