Alex and Dean exited the Lux club following Chloe and Lucifer, who were just about to head to the crime scene. Alex and Dean decided to go there only because both of them were wildly curious to see in person exactly how Lucifer performed his usual work as a police consultant.
Once on the busy street, Alex lazily lit a thin cigar, watching as his older brother Lucifer talked to Chloe with a wide smile. A tired, strained smile still lingered on Chloe's face because of all the chaos she had managed to witness in the last ten minutes.
At that moment, Chloe sincerely regretted not extending her vacation for another week in time so she could calmly continue her trip across Europe with her daughter. Then she definitely wouldn't have had to personally witness the horrific consequences of the turbulent family quarrel between Alex and Lucifer. Lucifer, for his part, was doing his best to distract Chloe's attention from the recent events, using all his strength to make her focus on a completely different topic of conversation.
"Alright, enough, Lucifer. Get in the car, quickly. We need to get to the crime scene immediately," Chloe said, sharply interrupting the monologue from Lucifer that had already become familiar to her.
"Detective, I'm simply sincerely helping you come to terms with what you saw as quickly as possible," Lucifer said in a cheerful tone, lazily leaning on the hood of Chloe's car.
"I would prefer to simply pretend that I didn't see the destroyed hall of your club restoring itself right after the rampage… You two also get in the car quickly, since you decided to go with us," Chloe said wearily, irritably waving Lucifer off and smoothly turning toward Alex and Dean.
"Detective Decker, we'll probably take our own car. It's much more familiar for us to travel in our own transport," Alex said calmly, smoothly exhaling cigar smoke upward.
Hearing these words, Chloe raised a surprised eyebrow, looking around. She was very curious what kind of car Alex and Dean had arrived in, since she already knew for sure that they had ended up in this world far from their own free will. Dean, at that moment, looked intently at Alex with a silent question: had he brought his Baby along.
Alex turned to Dean and calmly told him that he had brought his personal Baby. Hearing this short answer, Dean clicked his tongue in displeasure because his own dear Impala was currently in a completely different universe, and he really hated being so far from his car.
Quickly waving to Chloe and Lucifer and showing that they would be back soon, Alex and Dean headed into the nearest empty alley. Going deeper into the backstreet, Alex calmly pulled his black Impala straight out of his inventory and tossed the keys to Dean with a precise throw. Catching the keys in mid-air, Dean grinned widely and immediately got behind the wheel with a familiar motion.
Sitting in the seat and starting the engine, Dean's first action was to turn on the radio. And as soon as loud music began playing from the speakers, Dean lightly drummed his fingers on the steering wheel to the rhythm and smoothly pulled out of the alley onto the roadway.
Chloe and Lucifer continued standing near the car and synchronously turned their heads exactly at the moment when the black Impala drove out of the alley. Seeing this car, Lucifer laughed sincerely, not missing the obvious fact that this vehicle was capable, if necessary, of withstanding the explosion of an entire universe without a single scratch.
And it immediately became absolutely clear to him that such a car could only belong to his younger brother. Lazily stroking his chin, Lucifer mentally thought that he definitely should pull off exactly the same trick with his own beloved convertible.
"It seems my younger brother sincerely loves good old classics, doesn't he, Detective?" Lucifer said with a wide smile, finally preparing to get into Chloe's car.
"I just sincerely hope they won't listen to their music so deafeningly loud when we all arrive together at the crime scene," Chloe said wearily, discontentedly pointing her finger at the rock music that continued to thunder from the Impala's interior throughout the entire street.
"It's just good music, Detective. Although, I must admit, I still sincerely prefer old classical pieces instead of something like this," Lucifer said thoughtfully, lazily stretching out on the front passenger seat.
Chloe looked at Lucifer and only sighed, starting her car's engine. Pulling out onto the road, Chloe saw Alex stick his hand out the window and wave, showing that she should drive ahead to lead the way. Seeing this gesture, Chloe pressed the gas pedal. When the cars lined up at the traffic light, Lucifer turned his head toward the Impala. And the moment he looked out the window, he saw Alex vigorously flipping him the middle finger.
Seeing his younger brother's behavior, Lucifer only laughed, but that didn't mean he wouldn't respond. And while Chloe watched the traffic light, which was about to turn green, Lucifer raised his hand and flipped the middle finger back at Alex's gesture. When Chloe pressed the gas pedal to drive further, Lucifer waved cheekily at Alex and then turned away. Alex, sitting inside the Impala, chuckled slightly and leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes.
"Listen, are we going to be in this universe for long? I kinda don't want to leave Sammy alone after everything that happened. After all, just a couple of hours ago we killed Chuck. And then that whole thing with Sammy… Whatever is happening to him right now," Dean began speaking, turning the radio down a bit and continuing to follow Chloe's car, which was driving ahead.
"Sam will need about a day to wake up. As for how long we'll stay in this universe, you can consider it a short vacation. Or are you tired after all this and want to rest?" Alex spoke in a thoughtful tone, lighting a new thin cigar and sticking his hand out the window.
"It's not that I'm tired. I'd even say I feel just great. It's like we didn't fight in the center of the planet and didn't use the core of that same planet to grind Chuck into minced meat," Dean said, shaking his head, showing that he wasn't tired at all and was only curious why he wasn't tired.
"It's because Amara got all her power back. And naturally, you yourself became stronger. As for how long we'll stay in this universe — I think we'll stick around for a day and then head back. I still want to visit another one of my brothers, Amenadiel," Alex said, slightly sticking his head out the window to exhale the cigar smoke.
"Ah, yeah. I forgot you have another brother here. Although resting for a day wouldn't hurt. And your brother Lucifer is pretty fun, and most importantly — he's not a complete asshole," Dean laughed, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel and nodding his head slightly, agreeing with Alex's decision to stay in this universe for a day.
Alex quietly chuckled at Dean's comment and didn't deny that his older brother Lucifer was actually a pretty decent guy, even though they had only met a couple of hours ago. While Dean continued obediently following Chloe's car, Alex took his phone out of his pocket and quickly wrote a message to his wives, warning them that he and Dean would stay in this world for a day and then return home.
At that moment Alex still didn't know that his newly minted brother was quite vindictive and never minded playing a harsh prank on a family member. And that this seemingly innocent joke would ultimately cost Alex and Dean a long headache. Because at that very time Lucifer, sitting in the passenger seat in Chloe's car, was too quiet compared to his usual behavior, something Chloe simply couldn't fail to notice.
A cunning plan of revenge against his younger brother was ripening in Lucifer's head. Despite the fact that Alex had fully compensated for all the damage caused to the Lux club, Lucifer had no intention of leaving this morning's brawl just like that. After all, as the older brother, he considered himself obligated to teach the younger one a lesson. And to his great fortune, he knew exactly how to do it.
During the time Alex had been telling about his life at the bar counter before their meeting, Lucifer had managed to learn that his younger brother's main job was saving dying worlds. And that was exactly why Lucifer was going to arrange a small fun adventure for his little brother and his best friend.
One half-forgotten world that Amenadiel had secretly watched over several millennia ago timely surfaced in his memory. Lucifer distinctly remembered that Amenadiel had personally blessed the ancient Cetra race back then so that these people could finally deal with the cosmic parasite that had previously devoured entire civilizations and planets alive.
"Hmm… It seems those resilient Cetra still couldn't defeat that creature in the end..." Lucifer said thoughtfully, slowly stroking his chin and looking at the road ahead.
"What are you muttering about again?" Chloe asked, hearing Lucifer's strange muttering and not quite catching his words because of the noise of passing cars.
"I'm going to arrange a little prank for my brother and his friend. I think my little brother will appreciate something like this," Lucifer said with a wide smile, his whole appearance showing how fun it would be for him to watch.
"I hope this fun of yours doesn't lead to another bloody fight in the middle of your club," Chloe said wearily, noticing that dangerous smile on Lucifer's face and trying not to get distracted from the road.
"Oh, no, of course not, Detective. I'm just going to throw my little brother something he loves so much. And then he definitely won't be able to refuse my modest gift," Lucifer continued smiling contentedly, nodding his head from side to side and finally regaining his good mood.
Chloe narrowed her eyes at Lucifer with suspicion. She was still getting used to the thought that the real Lord of Hell was sitting next to her. Accepting this harsh truth was made easier only by the fact that Lucifer always told her the pure truth about his true nature. But at this particular moment she simply didn't want to know what specific prank the devil was planning to arrange for his younger brother. She already had more than enough of the obvious fact that a fallen angel, whom absolutely every person on earth considers the greatest evil in the universe, was sitting in the neighboring seat.
Lucifer, for his part, was feverishly figuring out exactly how to make his dear younger brother take on the proposed job. Raising his hand, Lucifer lightly ran a finger along his chin and slyly narrowed his eyes. He finally figured out what kind of juicy bone he could throw his brother so that he wouldn't even think of running back to his universe the moment he learned about the prank.
After all, in his rather extensive personal collection there were a couple of truly interesting things that his younger brother would surely want to add to his bottomless inventory. This especially concerned two ancient daggers forged from hellish iron, with which one could easily wound even a higher celestial if desired.
In his time, Lucifer had prudently given this deadly weapon to Maze for safekeeping as his most loyal executioner. And now he was going to use these rare blades to properly tease his younger brother and force him to get involved in this brutal adventure.
When this plan finally matured in Lucifer's head, he almost laughed out loud, already vividly imagining his younger brother's elongated face and how irritably he would complain about life. Timely hiding his smug smile, Lucifer thought that right after investigating the murder he would need to personally talk to Amenadiel to find out the exact coordinates of the universe he needed.
The last and most important point of the devil's plan was to make Alex lower his guard and completely relax. And Lucifer knew perfectly well how to pull this off. After all, for ancient beings like himself and Alex, it was physically impossible to get drunk — any standard alcohol, whether made by mortals or even supreme deities, simply didn't affect their bodies.
But in the laws of the universe there was one small loophole that allowed bypassing this and getting drunk like a simple mortal. Therefore, Lucifer's strategic plan looked quite simple and without unnecessary pomp: first get Alex and Dean properly drunk to the point of unconsciousness, then quietly throw them into the needed universe without fuss, and only after that throw them a juicy bone so that the thought of abandoning this adventure halfway wouldn't even occur to them. A quiet ominous laugh escaped Lucifer's lips when this perfect scenario for a brotherly prank finally formed in his head.
By this time the black Impala had already reached the place where the murder had occurred. Parking the car on the side of the road right behind Chloe's vehicle, Alex and Dean leaned out the windows to assess the situation. Several patrol cars stood near the building, and the police had already cordoned off the perimeter and were not letting local residents who tried to enter the house inside.
Nearby stood the forensics team's van, who were already working at the crime scene. After a quick glance at their clothes and Dean's jacket, Alex snapped his fingers briefly, instantly changing their outfits into strict official suits.
Finding himself in a tight jacket again, Dean gave Alex a blank look but remained silent. Opening the glove compartment, Alex took out pre-prepared FBI badges that he had never really used, but they always lay in the Impala's glove compartment. Handing one badge to Dean, Alex was the first to push open the door and step outside.
Chloe, who had gotten out of her car along with Lucifer, immediately noticed that Alex and Dean were now dressed like feds. She didn't even ask how exactly they had managed to change during the short drive.
"If anyone asks who you are, I'll say you're new consultants who are supposed to be hired by the department, and this is your first workday," Chloe said as soon as Alex and Dean approached, building a credible cover story for them on the go.
"No need to overcomplicate it, Detective. We'll say we're FBI agents," Alex replied calmly, taking out his fake agent badge.
"They're fake, right?" Chloe asked, looking intently at the badge in Alex's hands.
"Exactly. But no one will ask unnecessary questions at a moment like this. Besides, this scheme has always worked," Alex said with a smile, putting the badge back into the inner pocket of his jacket.
"It worked for a whole eleven years, and almost no one asked questions," Dean added with a smirk, making it clear that he had pulled this trick far from the first time.
"Fine… But if they catch you, I will personally arrest you for forging official documents and impersonating officials," Chloe said in a serious tone, clearly indicating that she was first and foremost a police officer.
"Whoa, I'll need to get myself one of those too… Lucifer Morningstar, FBI agent. I definitely like how that sounds. It seems the current head of the FBI owes me something, so I'll need to have a talk with him when I have some free time," Lucifer said with a wide smile, already thinking hard about how cool he would look with his own FBI badge.
Chloe simply ignored Lucifer's strange comment about wanting to get official FBI agent status. She was already so used to his eccentricity that it didn't even surprise her, since he had become a police consultant only because he wanted to. Crossing the road, Chloe raised her hand, stopping the passing cars. Lucifer immediately followed Chloe, starting to walk beside her.
Alex and Dean walked behind, crossing the road after them. On the other side of the street Chloe approached the patrol officers to find out the general information and clarify what exactly was happening inside the house. Hearing all the details, Chloe entered the building entrance along with Lucifer. Alex and Dean had to show their fake FBI agent badges to pass through the police cordon without hindrance.
Climbing the stairs to the third floor, Alex and Dean entered a long corridor filled with police officers questioning neighbors. Following Chloe, they went to the very end of the corridor, where the victim's apartment was located. Entering inside, Alex saw that it was a small studio apartment where only one person lived. Chloe, meanwhile, approached Ella Lopez, who was just taking photos of the victim's body lying right by his computer.
"Ella, what do you have?" Chloe asked, approaching Ella together with Lucifer.
"Hi, Chloe. How was the vacation in Europe? I see you have an even nicer complexion, and the dark circles under your eyes are gone. Maybe I should take a vacation too and go somewhere, maybe to Mexico," Ella said with a smile, lowering the camera and starting to ask Chloe questions.
"Mexico, an excellent choice for relaxation. Good music, drinks. And at this time of year there are almost daily festivals there," Lucifer interjected with a smile, supporting the conversation.
"Lucifer, not now. Ella, let's focus on the case. First the body, then everything else," Chloe said, interrupting Lucifer and Ella's conversation.
"Oh, sorry. What do I think… This is probably that classic locked-room murder. The apartment doors were locked from the inside. No one touched the windows. While you were driving, we managed to check a few things. And the traces in the apartment belonged only to the victim. Which means no one entered or left," Ella began explaining, pointing out what she had managed to notice.
"Whoa, a mysterious locked-room murder. I like those. So, where do we start?" Lucifer said with a smile, glad that the case they had responded to turned out to be so mysterious.
"We start with the fact that the apartment wasn't locked," Alex's voice came from behind Lucifer and Chloe.
When Alex's words sounded, Chloe, Lucifer, and Ella synchronously turned all their attention to him. Ella's eyes immediately widened in surprise when she shifted her gaze from Alex to Lucifer. She was sincerely amazed at how strongly these two resembled each other. The first thing Ella immediately wanted to ask was whether Alex and Lucifer were blood brothers, but at the same time she couldn't help but note to herself that Alex was completely her type.
Lucifer, however, looked at his younger brother with an expression as if he had managed to ruin all the fun of this mysterious murder for him. Chloe, on the contrary, really wanted to find out what exactly Alex had managed to discover during these couple of minutes of a quick examination of the studio. The detective decided to listen carefully to Alex and gave a short nod, showing that she was ready to hear his working theory.
Alex nodded understandingly in response and calmly took thick rubber gloves out of his jacket pocket. Quickly putting them on his hands, he approached the victim's body and carefully turned it onto its back.
"We start with the fact that the victim died from a precise shot to the eye. Judging by the characteristic state of the wound…" Alex began speaking, pointing to the distinct wound in the eye socket.
"The shot was fired from a fairly long distance, and the bullet caliber itself was so small that it simply didn't exit the back of the head," Chloe finished the thought, nodding in agreement and immediately understanding exactly what Alex was getting at.
"Correct. And now the main question: how exactly could the victim have received such a wound while being inside a locked small apartment and sitting facing his computer," Alex said, returning the cooled body to its previous position and confidently rising from his crouch.
"It was definitely done by someone who had free access to this apartment," Ella confidently suggested, deciding to actively participate in the general discussion.
"Correct. But the killer's direct access was not to this apartment at all," Alex said, raising his index finger upward with a slight smile.
"Then to which one?" Chloe asked, finally becoming interested in Alex's unexpected theory.
Alex smiled upon hearing this question and calmly walked over to the window, which was just a few steps from the computer desk. Opening the window, Alex pointed his hand at the building standing opposite, which was also an ordinary residential house. Chloe approached closer and saw that right opposite the window, on the other side of the street, there was an open sash of a completely empty apartment.
Beginning to guess what had really happened here, Chloe sharply turned to the police officers, giving them a clear order to urgently check the apartment on the third floor in the building opposite. Hearing Chloe's order, two patrol officers immediately left the studio and went to check the neighboring building.
"Suppose that's how it was. But the window itself was initially closed," Chloe said, frowning and turning her head toward Alex.
"It's simple. After getting a bullet in the eye, the victim stumbled and accidentally closed the sash. A kind of small death reflex," Alex said, clearly showing with his hands exactly how it had happened.
"Then why did our deceased buddy die right at his computer and not under the window, my dear brother Sherlock?" Lucifer interjected with a sarcastic smile on his face, wanting to hear Alex's entire further analysis at all costs.
"Isn't it obvious? This guy was obsessed with his computer until the very end. Most likely, he wanted to delete all his data at the last moment, and in the end he died without managing to reach the keyboard. In his place I would have done exactly the same. I even once asked my brother to throw my laptop into an industrial shredder without unnecessary questions so that everything would be destroyed at once," Dean said, pointing his finger at the monitor and at how the victim's frozen hand stubbornly reached toward the system unit.
"Hmm… Could it be that our ward was storing something so interesting on his hard drive that he desperately wanted to delete it? Now I'm sincerely curious what kind of dirty secrets he was hiding," Lucifer said, showing strong excitement about what the victim had tried to hide even with a bullet in his eye socket.
"We'll find out now. Give me literally a couple of minutes and everything will be ready," Alex said, taking his phone out of his pocket, moving the chair aside to sit at the desk.
Sitting down at the desk, Alex turned to Chloe and asked if she would mind if he dug around a bit in the victim's files. Chloe thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement — if it would help find the motive faster, it would greatly simplify her work. Having received the detective's consent, Alex pressed the power button on the system unit, and a standard lock screen immediately appeared on the monitor, requesting a password.
Rolling his eyes at such primitive protection, Alex connected his phone to the computer via cable. A few moments later the system surrendered, opening full access to the hard drive. Lucifer and Chloe immediately stood behind Alex, carefully examining the monitor in an attempt to understand what exactly the murdered man had been doing. Even Ella moved closer out of curiosity. Checking the opened folders, Alex thoughtfully ran his palm over his chin.
"Hmm… Interesting," Alex said quietly, rhythmically tapping his finger on the desk.
"What exactly is interesting there? In my opinion, this guy is the most ordinary nerd, and there's not even any porn on his hard drive," Lucifer asked, not seeing anything worthwhile in the open directories.
"Oh, no, my dear brother. The thing is that inside this operating system there is a deeply isolated subsystem hidden. And everything we see on the screen right now is just a fake for misdirection," Alex said, pointing his finger at the screen with the open folders.
"Wait… Are you guys seriously brothers?" Ella asked in surprise, shifting her gaze from Alex to Lucifer.
"Well, yeah. Isn't it obvious from looking at us?" Alex calmly confirmed, turning his head toward Ella.
"No… Well, I mean, yeah, you look alike. Wow! Lucifer, your own brother works for the FBI, and you never mentioned it once," Ella replied embarrassedly and quickly looked away, trying to hide her awkwardness.
Alex was already about to answer for Lucifer, knowing perfectly well that he was physically incapable of lying, but Chloe timely patted him on the shoulder. Turning his head toward the detective, Alex silently inquired what exactly she wanted to know. As soon as their gazes met, Chloe immediately asked if he could find out right now what the murdered man had actually been doing.
Alex silently nodded and immediately opened the isolated subsystem on the computer, displaying the encrypted files on the wide monitor screen. Seeing the opened data, Chloe only frowned harder, not understanding at all what exactly she was seeing in front of her. Noticing her confusion, Alex began calmly explaining that the deceased guy was apparently a professional hacker, and his death was directly connected to the last major job he had recklessly taken on.
Hearing this, Chloe darkened even more and asked Alex to check what kind of contract it was and who exactly had acted as the mysterious client. Quickly tapping his fingers on the keyboard, Alex hacked the remote server in a few seconds and found the hidden chat where the victim had been having a detailed conversation with the client. Leaning her hand on Alex's shoulder, Chloe leaned lower toward the screen to personally read the entire text of the correspondence.
"Can you trace the client? Or will that be difficult to do?" Chloe asked after reading the chat between the client and the victim.
"Already done. And it looks like the order was made by Fernando Rojas. Underground arms and drug trafficking. Arrested three times for murder and released on bail each time. Also charged with robbery. Whoa, so this is your old acquaintance, Chloe," Alex said, displaying the official dossier of the client on the screen.
"Indeed, we are quite familiar. In the past I arrested him twice. Once for selling drugs, and the other for a murder charge," Chloe said, nodding her head and instantly recognizing the man whose dossier Alex had shown.
"Well, we know the culprit. Let's go catch him. And right after that we can celebrate a joint case," Lucifer said with a smile, clapping his hands cheerfully.
Alex shrugged and quickly wrote down the exact address where Fernando Rojas was currently located on a piece of paper, then handed the sheet to Chloe. Before giving her the paper, Alex reminded the detective that she would definitely need Rojas's personal phone to pull ironclad evidence from it.
Chloe silently nodded, agreeing with Alex's decision, even if such a method went against her professional beliefs. Immediately after that Chloe took out her phone and called for backup to detain Rojas as quickly as possible, who was currently relaxing in a cafe on Santa Monica Beach. And just an hour after Chloe's call, Fernando Rojas was sitting in a cramped interrogation room, reluctantly talking with Chloe and Lucifer.
Alex and Dean had gone to the police station simply for company, and now they were calmly drinking coffee by the machine, talking about everyday topics and not even thinking about the recent events.
"Yeah, this isn't like hunting monsters in the woods. It's somehow even too simple," Dean said, taking a sip of hot coffee and lazily leaning his back against the coffee machine.
"Can't argue with that. There's absolutely no thrill. I've done this kind of hacking more than once when I still lived in Night City, only for that kind of work they at least paid me," Alex said, rhythmically stirring his coffee with a plastic spoon and watching the usual hustle in the police station corridors.
"Big deal, they didn't pay. Drink the free coffee and consider it our official payment," Dean said with a chuckle and friendly nudged Alex in the shoulder.
"Get lost. I don't work for food anymore. In any case, let Lucifer personally pay for my services. It was his brilliant idea to drag us onto this case, so he should pay," Alex said, rolling his eyes and taking another sip from the plastic cup.
Alex and Dean continued standing by the coffee machine and carefree joking with each other, not yet knowing that a rather long adventure in a completely different universe awaited them soon. But for now they knew nothing of this and continued to use this day in Los Angeles as a small one-day rest before the inevitable return to their own reality.
And before Alex and Dean could fully enjoy the free coffee, Lucifer appeared on the horizon again with his trademark smile on his face. Approaching Alex and Dean, Lucifer didn't say a word and immediately dragged the two of them to the next planned meeting. Lucifer wanted to do everything possible to make Alex and Dean finally lower their guard, and for the implementation of this plan he needed his next old acquaintance in the person of his personal psychologist Linda Martin.
Somehow shoving Alex and Dean into the Impala's interior, Lucifer named the address and contentedly sprawled on the back seat, throwing his hands behind his head. And just a short time later all three were standing at the entrance to the doctor's office. Without knocking on the door, Lucifer opened the sash with a wide smile and entered first.
A woman about forty years old with light hair styled in a neat hairstyle, wearing glasses on her nose and dressed in a light strict suit without unnecessary pomp, was sitting in the office. When the doors noisily swung open, Linda calmly adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose and looked at the guest with interest.
"Lucifer? You arrived much earlier than the appointed time. Did something happen that you came early?" Linda asked with interest upon seeing Lucifer enter.
"All the cases ended much faster, the detective closed the case. And now I'm completely ready for our session," Lucifer said with his familiar smile, lounging on the leather couch and habitually crossing his legs.
"Well, that's nice to hear. In your morning message you wrote that you would bring your brother today. So, where is he?" Linda asked with a smile, nodding her head slightly and immediately noticing that Lucifer had entered the office alone.
"Hmm…" Lucifer hummed in puzzlement, only now noticing that Alex and Dean had not followed him into the office.
Quickly getting up from the couch, Lucifer went back out into the empty corridor and ran into the frowning faces of Alex and Dean, whose whole appearance clearly showed that they had no intention of voluntarily sitting at a session with a brain-shrinker and that they definitely had nothing to do there. Alex thought this especially strongly because his very first visit to a psychologist in the past had ended with him accidentally breaking the poor woman's desk and scaring her half to death.
And his second session with a psychologist had taken place in the specific company of the gloomy Wednesday family. And he definitely didn't want to go through this a third time. Stubbornly crossing his arms over his chest, Alex clearly showed that he wasn't going anywhere beyond this threshold.
Dean also nodded his head in agreement, flatly refusing such therapy. But Lucifer had his own clear plans on this matter and had no intention of violating them. Grabbing Alex and Dean by the arms, Lucifer forcefully dragged them inside Linda's office with a sharp movement, clearly showing that the two of them would be present at this session whether they wanted to or not.
To be continued...
(So, the teaser for the next adventure is ready. And now we can definitely move on to the next stage normally. But now I'm wondering whether I should write about visiting a psychologist, or just mention it briefly and move on. I'm thinking about it, and it's starting to give me a headache. Oh well. I'll have time to figure it out. And now it's time to go eat. Peace, love, and let me ride a Chocobo.)
