They increased even more by pushing through the trees. There were probably 15 in total. They were all equipped with bows and swords.
Now, this is a problem.
Their equipment looked quite old, but their weapons clearly looked like human-made things.
When I landed and looked around, I was certain.
These were human, beastman, or elf skeletons. Not orc or monster bones.
Were these skeleton soldiers the kind of "dead soldiers who died around here" from fantasy works that get possessed by vengeful spirits or controlled by bad magic?
Originally they were human remains. Thinking about it, killing them feels a bit heavy.
They were equipped weapons, so of course they died during combat. They didn't die because they wanted to.
They died without mercy after being attacked by enemies or monsters.
It's too cruel that their bodies are still being used by someone even after death.
