The Elf immediately released her bow; the arrow, made of pure lightning, tore forward like a thunderbolt, straight towards Anthony's chest, its speed so immense that it distorted the air around it, but the moment it got close, Anthony simply raised a hand and a portal opened before him, swallowing the attack whole without resistance, as though it had never existed in the first place.
Before the Elf could even understand what was happening, another portal opened beside her, and from it, her arrow tore outward, streaking towards her head at an even more terrifying speed; her reaction was immediate, a mana barrier opened around her at the last second, and with cataclysmic impact, the lightning arrow exploded outward upon contact, a burst of lightning spanning ten kilometres tore outwards in the sky, illuminating everything in its path and shaking the very atmosphere.
