No matter how you look at it, being with your own biological parents is always more comfortable than living with your in-laws. Even though there are differences in thinking between the generations, because they're your parents, there's much more room for mutual tolerance.
Take spending money, for instance. If it were in front of my mother-in-law, walking in with large bags would likely make her call me wasteful. But with my parents, while they might comment that I buy too many things, they certainly wouldn't say I only spend without earning.
So, there is more laughter in the house.
With my parents helping to take care of Xiao Qi, I can comfortably deal with the remainder of my academic work. With just a few months left until graduation, and with most of my courses completed, I don't have to go to school every day. I have more time now, just waiting to get my diploma.
