When Cheng Su returned from the new house, she saw Qi Taiguo walking around the room holding Qi Xiaoqi. That posture was clearly meant to lull the child to sleep; she couldn't help but laugh.
"It's really rare, for our very busy Deputy Battalion Commander Qi to be so swamped that he's been missing for days, and now he's here lulling his son to sleep?" Cheng Su hung up her bag, jokingly teased, and then asked: "Where's my mom!"
"She saw me come back and said she was going out to buy some meat. So here I am with Xiao Qi, and this lad just won't sleep," Qi Taiguo said helplessly, glaring at his son.
Qi Xiaoqi looked at him silently, then pouted at Cheng Su.
"He's probably hungry!" Cheng Su carried her son over from him, noticed there was no one else at home, and simply started breastfeeding in the living room, then asked, "Why did you come back so early today? Weren't you supposed to be quite busy?"
